  Battlestar Galactica Colonial Wars V3 is here - Mods

Heya all
I am here today to inform you that our mod Battlestar Galactica Colonial Wars V3 has been releaced today (6 Of October 2007) the mod version changes many things ingame including Colonial/Rebel and Cylons/Empire sides. Here is a list of the new units included:

- Battlestar Talos
- Legacy Class SD (limited construction)
- Space based version of the Gallowfree (anti-fighter)
- Arc170 (unique to the Legacy SD)
- Republic Bomber (Tech Level ywing replacement)
- Ecliptic Class Star Frigate (Interdictor replacement)
- Imperial Venator (upgraded republic coloured (red) version)
- Space based version of the Lancet (heavy bomber/anti-fighter)
- Tie Harpy (additional tie squadron/fighter)
- Tie Ravager (additional tie squadron/fighter)
- Chiss Clawcraft (unique to the Imperium)
- Colonial raptor scout (applied as a launchable single ship squadron to three top end colonial capital ships)

- Imperium Class (Thrawn hero replacement ship)
- BSG75 Galactica (Commander Adama hero)
- Lee "Apollo" Viper MkII Squadron added (unique hero unit)
- Kara "Starbuck" Thrade MkVII Squadron added (unique hero unit)
- Sharon "Boomer" Valerii Raptor Scout added (unique hero unit)
- Number 6 modified Hades MkII added (unique hero unit)
- Baltar (original series) modified Hades MkI added (unique hero unit)
- Lucifer (original series) modified Fury MkI added (unique hero unit)
- Imperious Leader (original series) modified Chimaeia added (unique hero added)
- Admiral Cain modified Mercury Class added (unique hero added)

- Updated layering for capital ships (they should now have less collisions)
- Upgraded AI included for additional ships
- Test GC updated to make campaign slightly longer
- Alliance Nebulon B, Assault Frigate, Home One and MonCalimari Cruiser have hangars and launch fighters
- Rebel Ion Canon now capable of 99% disabling of enemy shields and weapons
- Initial rebalancing for both Rebel/Colonial and Imperial/Cylon sides (this will be redone for each later version)
- Resizing of several ships with additional weapon upgrade for the Hades MkII (reported as a suggestion on the BSGOnline forum)

The mod version 3 has also been completly re-balanced making the game more fair, the AI for both sides has also been upgraded.

This mod version will be the latest availble.

ummmmm...Isn't it based on both series?
Because it has old and new Base Stars...

I don't watch either series...but it is a fun mod...

Whilst the cylon/imperial side does have both new and old basestars the reason for this is due to the limitations of capital ship type. The colonial/rebel side has all but two of its capital ships using the same texture ships.

I have tried numerous times to get this mod to work. So far nothing. Someone even gave me step-by-step instructions and it is still not working. Can anyone give me some tips to get it working?
