Wasteland Advanced (2.0) - File Description  

This is a clean map. A clean, flat, wasteland. Although it doesn't look like at first glance, the is a nice level of parity between the halves. A single land bridge connects the sides, although there is plenty of room for battles not around the bridge.
Hi all, sorry for the year long wait on this one. Ive just been learning how to map in FoC and I forgot about this series in the process. Anyway, dividing this map right down the center is a large impassable canyon. There is a narrow bridge across this canyon, in which there are two turbolaser turrets on each side of this bridge. Whoever controls the bridge basicly controls what goes where and how. Lots of hostiles, great bases. And I finally learned how to variate texture! big grin

Hint for Rebels: Use R2-D2 to slice the turbolasers on the opposite side of the bridge for ultimate control.

Hi all, sorry to keep you waiting for so long for the next installment of my Wasteland series. I've been off learning how to make maps. Just unzip this to your custommaps folder. Don't have one? Make one. Path should look like:

C:Program FilesLucasArtsStar Wars Empire at War Forces of CorruptionDataCustomMapsWasteland 2.0

Legal: I created this map myself. Therefore all credit goes to me if you would like to put my map in your mod. You must have *MY* permission to use this map in a mod or mappack.

I've seen a lot of Landing Zones on other mods and scenarios with things in the way so that not even Boba Fett's Slave I can land. Why do that? What's the point? Does that even happen in real life in our very own galaxy right here?

That is a very flat and plain map o.o

I suggest some props, height adjustments, and texture changes.

Yes, indeed I do suggest some hills, a few different sand textures and more props! Man, ya need thems props or elses u cannot have good looking map frown
