Description:
This is the update to the Sith Trooper Patched. I have made a few tweaks in squad and company size as detailed in the readme, the most notable of these changes is that I have FINALLY FIXED THE CONTAINER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Other than that I have made a few astetic changes detailed in the readme.

This my friends is the Sith Trooper Patched 2.0, I have finally figured out the finer points of using containers and I now post an update to my previous post. So, down to buisness, the Description and Change Log:

As many of you may know some time ago Codeuser posted the sithtrooper model to filefront, however, uno problemo, it didn't fire :-( I have coded a way around this issue and created a unit: Sith Troopers
NOTE FOR NO CONFUSION, I DID NOT CHANGE TO ORIGINAL MODEL I SIMPLY CODED AROUND THE PROBLEM

Sith Troopers are built on Korriban at the barracks by the Empire at Tech 3 and above (I gave them the stormtrooper icon because I am not very good at making icons) the have a very powerful sub-machine gun and are very difficult to kill and come in 4 squads of 9 troopers, however, they cost 5 grand for 1 company, so be prepaired to scrape your bankacounts clean for these troops, but don't be prepaired to lose. (well hopefully not, their not invincible you know)

FINALLY FIXED CONTAINER ISSUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Changed from 7 squads of 3 to 4 squads of 9 (this was the intended set up, however they were easier to control in their not so contained form, in squads of 3)

Changed price from 2100 credits to 5000 credits (more balanced)

Removed customized stim pack ability (icon wasn't working right) replaced with Power to Weapons NOTE: for some weird reason the expiration timer isn't counting down, it just stays on you turn it off and then you can turn it back on again (I've looked over the code and can't figure what the problem is) anyway I set speed modifier to slow them waaaaaaaaaaaaaay down, it may be a vain attempt to balance them, but so what

Changed transport from Lambda Shuttle (I think it was the Lambda but I'm not sure) to Sith Troop Transport by Warb Null (awsome model by the way, props to Warb Null)

Instructions

For people with little to no modding experience I have set this up as a mod, to install simply:

1. in your C:Program FilesLucasArtsStar Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption directory create a folder named Mods,

2. paste the Sith_Trooper_patched folder in Mods,

3. paste the included shortcut to your desktop,

4. double click and enjoy!

For people with modding experience, I leave it in your capable hands.

Bugs

I don't know why but the sith troop transport seems think that it is a corvette, to tell the truth it's actually a pretty good corvette so this may or may not be a bug, it wasn't my intent so ask Warb

I don't know of any other bugs, if you find one comment on it and I'll see if I can do something about it.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I am making a mod about Mandalorians (you know Mando_Maniac) anyhoo my posting/dowloading/email/contact/computer situation is... Well lets just say that it's quite complicated and leave it at that. Back to my point I was wondering if anyone knew Jeff Cheney and if so could please send him to my post because I need his permision to use 5 units out of ROTM.


To Jeff, I am making a mod about mandalorians and I was really hoping to use some stuff from your mod, my request list is below:


1. Kandosii Dreadnought Model, Textures, Icon, and code,
1.5 large blue laser projectile model, textures, proxie, and code (this is the pulse laser projectile used by the Kandosii in ROTM)

2. Rerigged Basilisk land and space Model, Textures, Icon, and code

3. Red Mandalorian Sniper Model, Textures, Icon, and Animation

4. Lictor Dungeon ship Model, Textures, Icon, and code

5. Kyr Galaar Fighter Model, Textures, and Icon

Those are my humble requests and hope that you will look kindly and generously upon me and my mod. I will be looking for your response in the comment section of this post.
