This is a new version of the Old Republic at War Space Demo makes a lot of changes from its older version. This includes bug fixes, more balance music and more. Be sure to download this version if you downloaded the previous version...or even if you didn't download the old version give this a try.

I know a lot of you were disappointed with the last version, but this time is different, this time everything has been changed. No file was left untuched. No unit escaped the rebalance, and no one would stand the hard effort I put into doing so. If you think that the last version was crap and why should you download this? I promise you, when you do, you will be sattisfied. I garante that. Why should I even consider spending all the time to download this even bigger file? This is a much better version and just a little bigger.

I spend a lot of time to upgrade the music and gameplay to my standards. Those are now the most epic in my oppinion and in those of the beta testers (all of them if you must know). You just need to give this a download to see what I mean. All music removed, and new, more epic music was put in place. I can tell you this is one of the best things out there, but that would be seen as arrogance, so insteed I say try this. You will see. (Yes, I probebly have the most arrogant description on Filefront. Just wanted to see how charasmatic I could be(I know I might suck at the attemt))

Ok, to buisness. You can try GC but I have no idea what will happen, it does work, but I haven't tested it fully yet. Also, don't try to build something from the merciant docks, the game will crash, a left over bug from last version, I was far to bussy correcting the rest, as you will see. This download is even bigger than last but a lot of stuff has been edit. Also a working icon fix this time. Please have high expectations, I would love to see all your faces when my new gameplay exeeds them all.
A shortcut is included so you should have no trouble starting the mod. If you have a 64 bit version, find out how to change a shortcuts properties. You can find this all over the net.

Yes I am talking like it's the best mod for FoC, it's probebly not, but I think it comes close. I know you must be getting sick from my arrogance, but...well, just play, and you'll understand. I mean, I got loads of good comments about the piece of crap (that's how I see it now) that is the first space beta. So that makes me a bit arrogant. Ok, now the credits. Important for else I get all kinds of questions, where did you get this? Where did you get that? Most models are made by warb_null. Retextured by me, Geroenimo. All code is changed, and the new hardpoint system is mine. And NO the mando's aren't playable yet.

A lot of thanks to the Ages of Star Wars team for letting me use some of their work.
The Sith gunship and Swiftgunboat(s) are both from the team, but the coding and hardpoints are mine. Also, a lot of graphic improvement. Credit go to The_Farseer and Filo (From the FX mod) and a thanks from me to them for letting me use their graphics. The lasers are half The_Farseer and half Filo's. I am considering asking Nomada Firefox for permission to use his backgrounds and nebulae.
Another thanks to The_Farseer for helping me out with the menu battles.
The new starbases are from the Legacy mod, and therefor credit for them goes to Cheesecake645. I still need to overhaul them. I used a AI modification from Dark_Lord (Filefront).
Also I used the KotOR icon pack from filefront. New loading screen since I thought it would fit more.

Credit to Terrorcookie for the icon of the sith bomber. Credit to me for screwing up the patrol craft's one. Special thanks to $leeper for the correcting the issues with the derriphan and sith Drahmash battleship. And then...
Me. Geroenimo for the idea, for all the hard work, for all dedication and time in where I could have done things with my mates, girlfriend, parents....etc. So, that would be all I think. Try it, You'll like it. At least. So here I am, at the end of this read me. With little more to say. Be sure to comment about music, gameplay, bugs and...you know the list. Just delete the old mod file and put the new one inplace.

Umm Geroenimo. This is still very unbalanced. I just set a skirmish to me and a hard AI as Republic versus two hard AI sith empires and they just raped me in 2:32 with sith fighters : My Aurek's were easily killed in about 3 seconds.

Sith fighters need to be powered down they vaporized my space station in 20 seconds, no exaggeration .

some people have icon trouble. I have submitted a fix, but it doesn't work. Now I have uploaded another fix, yet to be approved, and that one does work.

An excellent improvements over the last one, I must say. Particularly with the models, they are vastly superior to the last one.

And believe it or not, this mod appears to have fixed the issue with the Star Forge not disappearing when destroyed (was that intentional?), and it now drops into the sun on said maps. It looks damn cool

Even so, there are still a couple of issues I have. The Republic now seems woefully undergunned against the Sith Empire, who simply overwhelm with Leviathans - later Centurions - and literal swarms of Sith Fighters. Hammerheads and Paladins in particular seem to have been completely neutered in comparison to their Sith counterparts, and the same is true of the Republic fighters and bombers.

The music is better, but there is still the fact that you've used this rock music piece in within these other orchestral tracks is still jarring, and it just doesn't feel Star Wars. Star Wars is about these awe-inspiring orchestral tracks, it's a space opera after all. I'm not sure if you're just using it as a place-holder, but in future I'd suggest using tracks from Star Wars soundtracks and such.

But to reiterate, this is still a vast improvement over the last one. Keep this up and you have the makings of a brilliant mod on your hands.

Thanks, I agree, that rock music is a place holder for if I find something more fitting. I am working on a patch that will include:

Gameplay never seen before on EAW. Really, I have a total new system for classes.

Mando's (!!!) nice with basilisks and stuff.

Balance. a lot of it.

Dude, don't overwork yourself too much, trust me I know from experience. It can ruin your day.

As for the music, I agree that it is quite too uber, it just isn't star wars.

Fan would prefer music from Star Wars, so perhaps it would be useful to search for music in Kotor and Kotor II.

Good for a start, but there are still some issues which have been pointed out by others.

The newest icon fix on moddb works for me. Made me "Hurray!" when I played. I'm not going to repeat the problems that I've found, as pretty much all of them have already been pointed out. But as for the balance, a temporary "fix" I use is:

When fighting against the Sith Empire, I have a hard AI partner, and the other two Sith AI are both on medium. Against the Republic, medium AI partner, and the other two Republic AI on hard. It actually "balances" out pretty well. Sorry if everyone already figured this out, but eh, thought I'd point it out.
