Kosta87 Realistic Enhancements 2.0 (2.0) - File Description  

I'm going to be honest here: this is still a good mod, but my favorite part of it (the completed Death Star) has been reverted to it's old (uncompleted) self. Not that I'm going to stay away, and I'm probably the only one who likes the Death Star with the completed look. Check out the changelog for all the other modifications.

Hello everyone again this is the latest version of my realistic enhancements feel free to give feed back on what you think of my personal MOD. Unlike the last 2 mod's this one got a major facelift from the previous versions. here are the list of changes

-Bailknights ssd model
-Laser canons have a glow now
-Maps are much larger now like in ACM 2.4
-Death Star 2 is back to the uncontructed model (reason for this is because when it fires it's super laser it doesnt show the charge before it fires)
-Menu has changed (dont know if anyone cares)
-Ships have been resized and fighter look small compared to a star destroyer or mon calamari cruiser
-Population cap size is larger so you can have bigger battles when playing
-Planets are retextured by Jeff
-Removed warb nulls blue diver (sorry for the fans who loved that ship the description and trying to add a tag in there it was just a mess)

Purpose of this MOD is to make sure that all ship sizes are to scale and look just as close to the movies as possible. There is no new models or additional ships (Except for the eclipse ssd) these are all ships from the original foc. Only ships that had Model changes is the Executor and the Star Destroyer because the vanilla models werent close to the real thing. Performance wise is very good i can run this on my laptop with no lag CPU specs are 2.1 athlon 64 Processor QL 64, 3 gb of ram, and ATI 3200 graphics card. I'm sure older model computers can run this with no problem so no problem for low end systems. If anyone has any complains or suggestions etc message me in the comment section.

Installation: For the unexpierenced here is how to install

If you dont have a mod folder already, go into windows explorer and click once on the directory "C:Program FilesLucasArtsStar Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption" it should now be highlited. next, look at the options at the top left of windows explorer and click file, then put the curser over "NEW" and you should see the option called "Folder" click on "folder" A new folder will now pop up and be highlited, it will default be named "new folder" but we will right click on it, Select "rename" and rename it Mods. Now that you have a mod folder and are ready to put any mod including this one in it.

Unzip the contents of the mod folder into your "C:Program FilesLucasArtsStar Wars Empire at War Forces of CorruptionMods". If you dont have a mods folder then you will need to create one. See step above for instructions on how to make a mod folder. When done it should look like this: "C:Program FilesLucasArtsStar Wars Empire at War Forces of CorruptionModsKRE"

i'll probably include maybe a few xml files just to change a few things including the completed death star look in case people want it

good i was wondering if you made the maps huge to accommodate those big huge SSDs but i read and saw that you did smile

Well, technically I'd more over call it 'authentic' rather than 'realistic', cause you know....well, other than that bit.

I think the scaling's awesome, though. Nice work.

Pictures number 3 and 4 are fantastic. Higher res, and id throw that on my desktop for sure!

Is it just me, or are there invisible Star Destroyers?

Unless you have the Star Destroyer selected, such as clicking Piett's icon, you can't ever find it. Not even the hardpoints show up. Fortunately, Piett's supercannon still works.

the truth your mod is awesome, space wars, ships scale properly

but would, of course, if you can change the scale realistic battle ground ... transport, heroes, infantry, and so on

for more complete your mod ....
it is great ....
