Empire at War Story Creator (0.30) - File Description  


Description:
The Story Creator is a tool that allows modders to create story events in a fast and simple way.
It also uses simplified expressions instead of the "real" Event/Reward Type names to make it easier for new modders to identify the required Event/Reward Type. The proper usage of the Event/Reward Types is explained in the integrated help function.
Basic modding knowledge is required to use it.


The Story Creator comes with a manual that contains a basic event scripting tutorial as well as basic usage instructions for the tool.

Empire at war Story Creator v0.3

The Story Creator is a tool that allows modders to create story events in a fast and simple way.
It also uses simplified expressions instead of the "real" Event/Reward Type names to make it easier for new modders to identify the required Event/Reward Type. The proper usage of the Event/Reward Types is explained in the integrated help function.

- Added Event Type "STORY_TECH_LEVEL"
- Added Reward Type "LINK_TACTICAL"
- Improved XML folder importing




Content v. 0.22 (Hotfix)

- Fixed a bug that crashed the Story Creator when a XML contained errors or "unusual" (e.g. "ä", "ö", "ü") tokens
- The Story Creator will now display an error message containing the file name, the line number and position of the token that caused the error. The rest of the file might not be properly imported. (I recommend to fix the line in question if possible)
