If you change starting technology level to 5 in any Galactic Conquest scenario, the Empire will get both Captain Piett's ISD and Admiral Piett's SSD. This bug doesn't appear when you start the game with any other technology level and in Alderaan's Demise scenario (but you won't receive the Accuser regardless of chosen tech level).

Other thoughts: Sorosuub Preybirds, Crimson-hulled Victory Class Star Destroyers (Like in Darksaber, those were sweet), Katana-Class Dreadnaughts (perhaps Garm Bel Iblis as a hero) and why has nobody even attempted to make Luke a Jedi hero? I know he's in the expansion, but damn! I don't want to wait that long!
Kudos, though, another great job.
Oh, and sorry for the double post, but I disagree with B-Wings being tech level 3, they should be higher... Go about your day...

Yes, these units are available in skirmish. I've only forgotten about "land" TIE Fighters, it will be fixed in next release (probably v4.1 hotfix).
DS2 is too powerful to be a hero unit IMHO.
And sorry for X-Wing's lack of "hunt" ability

Ya it really sucks, my game doesnt work either, ive been watching this mod since V1, and it makes me cry everytime a new version comes out that i cant play it :-(
Anyway, i think the first picture is the funniest thing ive ever seen. Yet no-one has noticed that there are TWO death stars in the picture. Thats just awsome.

i thought the last version of CIS was incredible, but this is totaly awesome. This mod is one of the best out there for EAW. My space battles have now become jaw dropping experiances !!! thank you so much for a great add on to SW EAW.

This mod is absolutely awesome!!!
It even beats the Bailknight's Mod + Bluelobster's Map Pack combination, A Galaxy Divided V3 and EaW Enhanced Version 2.
And perhaps an idea for a hero in the next version: Princess Leia.
Kinda like Mara Jade, just a female with a gun, and the abilities Take Cover and perhaps a weaker version of Force Push. She can use the Force too, so she should.
Too bad you removed Needa. I thought he was quite good. The non-SPHA Venator was worthless, though.

I didn't understand the difference between laser and rockets for the Death Star. Well t's hard to get it and I tried to do as much space battles as I could but I don't find huge fleets so I was not able to see rockets in action.
I just installed cis-v4 and I'm getting an exception error during loadup. I tried the mod with 1.5, and after I got the error, I reinstalled the game and used v1.04patch, but I got the same error. Otherwise EAW's working fine, and I can still play CIS v3. Anyone else getting this error? Please help! I would really like to play this mod.

Death Star II isn't buildable in skirmish. Current model doesn't support hardpoints, so DS2 is almost indestructible.

I know this bug. Orange glow disapears if you set max detail level. Republic Destroyer model will be redone in the next release. I'm going to add engine glows as well

Removing cpt. Needa was a hard decision but I think the Empire doesn't need another ISD hero.

DS2 isn't armed with rockets Read carefully ability's description. It orders the battlestation to stop firing at will. You may want to destroy Rebels ship to ship.

Hmmm...Are you using any other mods? Combining CiS with non-modpath mods can cause such problems. Also, delete V3 before installing V4 and make sure the installer is copying files to the proper directory.

Anyway, this mod rocks. And yes it's sad to remove Captain Needa. But maybe you can reput it and add Princess Leia in future version. About ISD Hero, you can add it only as a space Commander like Thrawn.

Avenger - The Tie/D is absolutely awesome! It reacts just like in the novels and games (Rogue Squadron 64 had Tie/Ds). Absolutely awesome job.
Remove the Space Junk.
To keep it Civil War Canon, maybe you can (forget the Crimson Hulls, as far as I know only one ship had them) add the World Devastators. Well... then again they were too big.
Instead, perhaps you can add the At-Pt (Don't have a link yet) for land battles.
And for Space, (I love the Republic Star Destroyer) you could add the Nebulon B2 and maybe get Dash in there as a hero for the rebels.

Why don't you give Thrawn his Chimera ISD in the next version. He ends up doing nothing and just sitting around when your the Imps. And also couldn't You change Red Squadron to Rogue squadron.

As you probably know, the Rebel Alliance consisted of multiple species, since the Empire loathed all sentient creatures except for humans, perhaps you can add these for the Rebels:
Bothan Spies: buyable on Bothawui
Mon Calamari Soldiers: buyable on Mon Calamari
Geonosian Soldiers: buyable on Geonosis
Twi'lek Assassins: buyable on Ryloth
Sullustan Engineers: buyable on Sullust
Human Soldiers: buyable on every planet with human natives that support the Alliance (Abregado-Rae, Bestine, Corellia, Dantooine, Fondor, Jabiim, Naboo, Tatooine, Yavin)

Death Star II is buildable only on Kuat or Endor with tech level 5 and Station level 5 too.

Is number of hardpoints made up my the modeler when he makes the model or can u code more hardpoints to ships? My point is that some1 should make more hardpoints to ships... Like some laser cannons against small crafts(fighters/bombers ) and light turbolasers for the small/large ships (still able to target to fighters and bombers) and finaly heavy turbolaser batterys for large ships(unable to shoot anything smaller than tartan/corvette). My point in this is that its stupid when my ssd is shooting with turbolasers those tiny little a wings.. it looks stupid... Ppl who understands this may try to explain better if know what i mean...

#20 If you have an older cis version and then installed v4 the save game will not work because it can't find the previous mod, I had the same problem.
Now we have the second Death Star someone could make a battle of endor map.
And don't try to do to much, this could easily get away from you... The price of success, eh?

Leia: A Combat-Capable Mon Mothma with Take Cover and Lucky Shot (Leia never misses, after all)
Garm Bel Ibis: Fleet Commander in the Peregrine. Unsure of abilities, but I can come up with something...
Lando: Increase credit output of the planet he's on, Sprint & Take Cover. Spacebound pilots the Lady Luck.
And seperate Luke from Red Squadron, Make Red Squadron Rogue Squadron, Give Luke his X-Wing and Post-movie abilities, no pansy-boy Luke for this dude...
For the Empire: Give Thrawn the Chimaera.
Admiral Daala: Commands the Gorgon, Redirect All Firepower and Boost Weapons. Offensive Juggernaut but vulnerable. Perhaps amplifies only offensive capabilities of her troops, but maybe reduces defense... WAIT! Give 'er the Knight Hammer! maybe not... That'd be broken... If only there were a way to give higher bonuses if Tarkin was on the ship too...
Pellaeon: Wait, give HIM the Chimaera, Thrawn can ride shotgun.
You know what? Do whatever you want. You haven't gone wrong before. The only thing I ask is the hunting X-Wings.

hmm i'm quite a way into a GC match as the rebels, i have been unable to capture kuat or fondor the only two cap ship building planets on this particular match without the mediator/mon cals is it possible to take out piett? without any cap ships?... The mods awesome avenger, truly amazing made the game rather fun for me again^_^ 
You can build E-Wing armada or prepare a trap with planetary ion cannon

Hey Avenger, Could you possibly somehow make the laser fire faster in space? Maybe a little longer and brighter too? Because its incredibly short and ridiculous when watching the tie fighters go at it with rebel fighters...
About the Crimson ISD, there was -one- that I know of, Star Destroyer that was entirely red. I'm going to do some research but if anybody could get the name that'd be great. Think you could add that to the space battles?

Another great mod, nice work,but ds2 seems to be too powerfull..poor rebels.. . Just a little idea if i'm right TIE Avengers were earlier than Defenders, Avengers were fihgters (4 laser cannon,4 concussion missile lunchers), Defenders were the ultimate weapons of the empire in this category,some kind fighterbombers with very strong shilds( 6 laser cannon, 3 ion cannon, 4 proton torpedo launcher). If you could include Avengers too, and make same balance changes like this, than the game would be more realistic and maybe balanced , this E-wings really kicks. What do you think about that, worth it?? lol

Thank, thats what i thought i'm waiting for him on Atzerri with a fleet full of bwings and the likes although i attacked him with like 15 Ewing squadrons...takin out the hanger first to stop resistence then the engines to outmaneuver him.... took like 28 minutes for him to kick my **** slow and painful defeat! lol oh well i'm keepin my eyes peeled for V5, but don't work too hard

The best SSD i have ever seen is from bailknight.Why???His SSD has 1)red turbines(i dont know the english word for that,sorry)2)His SSD has great death sequences(with smoke and more)3)His SSD is more balanced.
The best Death Star 2 is from you dear Avenger eally great,but it should be maybe more balanced and it should also look like the second death star,but the rescale of it is great and the fire rate also.Also Captn Needa and Thrawn are super.
The next great Mod was the EAWEnhanced mod V2 :there are a lot of ships from which i was fascinated,also the idea with the escorting fregates was great.and he also uses bailknights SSD.but it also had bugs:for example ebels is skirmish:if you go to tech 2 the Y-wings cannot be build any more....
The mod of realistic rescale is also very important cause i hated to play tie fighters which are as big as a tartan and so on.....
But i forgot a Mod creator who created maps especially for great ships like Death Star 2 and SSD...we need someone who create more spacemaps without space junk to fill with SSD .....it was very hard for me to place the SSD to my now playing map because it was so big.

Do you think you coulde combine your mod with Bailknights, I like both of your mods but they both have things that would cancel each other out if you know what i mean.
The DeathStar II's fire is screwed up, like whenever it shoots the beam goes like all over the screen and then the enemy ship gets destroyed...can you fix this?
This mod is great, I think for your next version you should include some of the newer ships, a dsII skin, and balance things out a little for the rebels. Otherwise excellent job.
My Death Star 2 doesn't seem to fire 90% of the time and when it does fire it just blows up one of the hardpoints of the target ship, is this normal or is my game just screwed up?

The Tie Avenger was mass-produced before the Tie Defender was even deployed on the front-lines. However...
The Tie Defender was constructed first.
Also, the Tie Phantom was built before the Tie Avenger, which is a Tie Fighter that had a cloaking device (which is stupid in my opinion).
I agree with the people who have said "You're a god"... where's the worship smiley when you need it???

PLease get rid of the ARC-170 and the V-Wing. Tey dont feel ''empire'' enough to be in there IMHO.
Most of the native alien species are with the rebels, perhaps you can add them as buyable soldiers???

Earlier there was a comment on an all crimson ISD and some question to the name of it. It was called the Errant Venture. And the captains name was Booster Terrick. He was after Return of the Jedi, and played a major role in the Yuuzhan Vong series.

You should add the Viscount-class Star Defender.
It was a Mon Calamari design, the size of a Super Star Destroyer.
Since the Rebels have no unit that is a match for a SSD (not even the Mediator one on one the SSD always wins) the Viscount might be a good idea.
And other ship ideas:
Rebels:
Nebula-class Star Destroyer (a New Republic Star Destroyer used by the Rebels, it was 65% of an ISD's length, it could still match one in a battle. Should spawn E-Wings)
Defender-class Assault Carrier (a New Republic Starfighter Carrier, it should spawn E-Wings)
K-Wing Fighter (an advanced Rebel fighter, it carries turbolaser batteries that match the power of a capital ship, and many proton torpedo tubes. Because of this, it should be a tech 5 elite fighter/bomber.)
Nebulon B-2 (a more advanced design of the Nebulon B. This design is meant as an attacking craft, unlike the Nebulon B, which is meant as a carrier ship.)
Empire:
TIE Raptor (a non-hyperspace capable TIE design. Not as fast as the TIE Interceptor, it was as manouverable as an A-Wing, and had four laser cannons and two concussion missile tubes as weapons)
TIE Opressor (another TIE design, this one was meant for attacking larger enemies, such as capital ships. It had two laser cannons, a proton torpedo launcher, and two concussion missile launchers)
World Devastator (an extremely powerful Imperial ship, it was able to consume enemy ships)(yes i know this one might be hard, but it would be totally awesome)
Vengeance-class Super Star Destroyer (another enormous capital ship owned by the Empire, it was about 10 kilometers in length)
Interdictor Star Destroyer (a lethal mix between a Star Destroyer and an Interdictor Cruiser. This ship had the firepower and size of an ISD, and the Gravity Well Generators and Missile Jamming Fields of the Interdictors. It basically is an ISD with the Interdictor's humps on it.)
I have an idea for a ground version of Red Squadron.
A squadron of Snowspeeders, with Luke Skywalker, Wedge Antilles, Dak Ralter, Hobbie Klivian, Wes Janson, and Zev Senesca.
If you are willing to do this idea, i'll gladly write the unit descriptions.
i think u should make the DS 2 a little cheaper. for me i dont think it's really worth it! it may destroy medium ships in one shot but not capital or even battlestations! and u should make the build time A LITTLE lower it takes forever for it to be finish being built, i'd also like if u made the DS 2 stronger!
When i use the DS2, it easily blows up a Mediator-class Mon Cal Cruiser in one hit!!! A Space Station lvl 5??? One hit!!!
I do agree however with the shorter build time.

I still think that IG-88 and the Hapan battleships would be sweet. The Battle Dragon could act like the artillery on the ground and just pount an area of space with turbolaser fire, and the Hapes Nova's could have the firepower of a VSD but the speed of a corellian corvette.
Another idea: you know how you can build rocket or laser emplacements in space on available space stations? Maybe make a modification that would add the ability to make it into a quad-turbolaser emplacement? That would be amazing!

Avenger,i think it would be a good idea to give the empire some hypercapable fihters,bombers to match the rebels, and some bigger "guns" for the other side to match the SSD.

These are only "advices" , i think every one would be pleased to see them in v5. You are the only one who can do this!

I disagree with only one thing you think would be cool to add into the game. That is --Hapan Battle Dragon and the Haps Nova Battle Cruiser. -- These are pirate specific ships and honestly, I think people should hold off on modding pirates until the release of Forces of Corruption. Other then that good idea!

Yeah, we do need something to combat the SSD. Its incredibly hard to destroy it, and if the AI in many situations I've been in had been human, the Rebels would not have stood a chance. Its too easy to conquer with the SSD.

Keep up the good work! But I still think you should remove the space junk, otherwise the SSD and larger ships are liable to get randomly stuck (it rarely happens) and ships will be scattered and sometimes spawn off-map instead of around the SSD (happens when a massive unexplainable asteroid feild is defecting the spawn points)
Ive recently got back into EAW and I was browseing around BCfiles and woa! found this link and I thought I wonder if theres anything to liven my eaw up like say clones or a big SSD or even perhaps, just maybe..... Grand Admiral Thrawn himself... And I dled ur v3 and wow just wow I got a mate to get it and we went online and beat the crap outta each other with a mixed fleet altho I lost i was rebels But never the less it makes eaw fun again!
One slight criticism but i havent dl this v4 yet so I apologise if uve done this but in v3 there was no engine fire on the SDD and that kinda looked abit off (I noticed it when my friend came at me with it AHHHHH)
Oh and the new death star 2 fireing on ships idea........EXCELLENT! keep ot up I look forward to ur next mod

TIE Avenger - ok, it will be lvl 3 hypercapce capable fighter (A-Wing's counterpart)
Bulwark - I don't like to double unit classes, MK II frigate fulfils the role
Nebulon b2 - same as above but it's more likely i'll add NB2 than Bulwark
Defender-class/Nebula-class - I think they offer nothing more than Republic-class, anyway I'll take a closer look at them, thanks
World devastators - are you really like these large vacuum cleaners 
Viscount-class - YES, the problem is good 3D model...
Other suggestions:
Space junk will be partialy removed in V5. Maps will be larger. I'm not sure I'll make it myself or ask someone to use his mod.
SSD engines - it's a hard task, maybe I'll ask Bailknight for permission to use his SSD, haven't decided yet

Well...this is prob the best mod out there...havent found bugs in it until now just the republic destroyer...it seems it has some problems with the texture and the engines dont glow.The texture apears and disapears.My graphics settings are all on max(geforce 6600GT).What could be the problem?...oh..some suggestions.Maybe u can add more planets(there are mods out there...maybe u can ask for permision).As for new units...canon units are the best .
Why would the Hapan battle fleet be pirate specific, the Hapes Consortium was a empire that joined the New Republic, offering their fleet services in time of need. Example being the Yuuzhong Vong invasion, at the battle of Fondor. In either case, it wasn't my favorite idea (though I think I came off that way). But I do agree with holding off with modding pirates.
There are so many ideas out there, no more super weapons or super ships, it's hard enoough fighting them without making more, there are SOO many capital ships to create.
-The modified SSD that was a factory for dark troopers. The name of that ship escapes me. two ideas there.
-The Flurry was a New Republic carrier ship, refer to the book: Truce at Bakura.
-Give the Rebels more heroes with capital ships (Han Solo has the Mon Remonda) (Lando has the Lady Luck) Though Lady luck isn't a capital ship
-Give Palpatine and Mon Mothma their own capital ship to fly in. Give the emperor and ISD MK.II and give Mon Mothma the winged medical frigate (a modified MC-80 from Return of the Jedi)
-Lancer frigate, Dreadnought, Carrack cruiser
I know I keep making suggestions, but I just want to say that Avenger85: you have made an incredible mod. Without doubt the best offered out there. So I send a personal thanks to you. A job well done.
The SSD can also be taken down by a few Mon Cal cruiser with Ackbar, and 6-10 marauder cruisers. Take out the shields and then pound the entire thing with the marauders. It will die quickly. Also have bombers target the hanger and engines, don't waste time on the shields generators.
when im playin this mod, (which is very excellent), it seems that the bombing run isnt available when i have at least an acclaimiter assult ship. thanx!
thats because acclamators carry ARC 170s not TIE Bombers but it would be cool to have a ARC 170 bombing run
how come when i play ur mod the DS 2 doesnt kill spacestation or capital in one hit!! it's weak!

Select DS2 and order it to attack specified target (click on any target's surface but not hardpoint). I hope I was clear enough.

Well might as well add my two pennies, the idea of more super ships for the empire is good, but titans...SSD's...DSII...lol as compared to the republic SD and the Mediator...well lets just say the rebels got the short end of that stick . One thing i've noticed is that the tie defenders have to be manually controlled sometimes, not frequently but sometimes they just kinda stay still and not do anything even when enemy fighters are flying by them.
Now suggestions for additions, well something shiney and big for the rebels (tons of new additions are welcome surely, but i'm happy with what i have right now lol ^_^)
I do have one question, anyone have any good stratagies against GC AI Rebels and those Rocket Artillery units? cuz man those things hurt!

Seems to me you cannot build the Death Star II in Skirmish.
Also, and ive seen this in a lot of mods, the AI (either side) in skirmish does not often use these new added units.

i think the reason that the ai doesnt use the new units becuase they are not scripted too...dont ask me how to make them use the new units

Ok the palpatine bug might not be an internal issue......i seem to be missing the EI_Palpatine.ALO file.....i don't know if not having the model would affect not being able to see the lightning or him not being able to capture things. Corrupt still works fine. If anyone can send me that file i will see if it is the problem
The AI uses B-Wings... To an unpleasant degree.
I've gotten an bunch of crashing "exeptions" too. Attacking Kessel, assassingating people with Boba Fett, and it actually just crashed as I blew up Naboo. Is the mod causing this or is it a game problem?

nope, its not a game error, it crashed on me after i blew up several other planets then tried to blow up Alderaan...anyone notice the irony there?
BUG ALERT!!!   the titans particle collisions are off!! torpedoes, lasers,a ions all "hit" it about a second before they should!!! this could be a serious problem Avenger!! Please fix it!!!

If this mod is causing exception crashes, and specifically exception crashes in related units/situations that actually have nothing to do with the mod, thnen you may want to nip this in the bud and find the problem... 
Speaking of problems, you claimed that the land-based TIEs had problems? I haven't gotten to use them yet, so what problems exactly are there before I find out the hard way?
Also, hate to push my suggestions again, but the Enhanced Empire at War Mod has some really nice Dreadnaught models... Just mentioning... 
lots of ppl have been having errors with the deathstar with patches 1.04 and 1.05 so maybe they should make patch 1.06 with the same deathstar data as was in 1.03

If there aren't enough unit places in the skirmish build tab, you can just have some outdated units be replaced by newer ones.
Like the Rebels should only be able to build Z-95's to tech lvl 2, then they are obsolete with the X-Wings around, the Nebulon B should be replaced by the Nebulon B2 in tech lvl 4.
The Empire should ditch the Acclamator and Venator around tech 4, i think, with the Victories and ISD's around.
The only problem with "land" TIE Fighter is an ugly shadow.
Titan Cruiser isn't my model. I've seen it with ALO Viewer - it has almost perfect collision box. Strange...
I'll rewrite DS1/DS2 code once again. It'll be probably based on patch 1.03.

Big thumbs up on this mod, just one thing though, when second deathstar is used to obliterate a planet (only ones i have noticed) Hoth, my pc/eaw cis locks up. whether u no about this or not idk but just a thing i have noticed otherwise gdgd on this mod. BTW lock up/crash happens on GC.
perhaps sith interdictor could be purchased at merchant space dock??? or emire have it. It may have the capabilities of an interdicotr cruiser i.e hyperspace retreat negate effect but with the firepower of the victory cruiser. just a suggestion tho keep up the gud work

I agree. CiS isn't a Clone Wars mod and I can't convert animated infantry and walkers. You must wait for IA II. Some of the Sepatatist's ships are also included in Enhanced EAW mod.

Laser aren't changed yet. When the game crashes (I mean situations)? Delete all other mods, reinstall the game with patch 1.05. It should help.

What about adding CIS ships??
It crashes on the main menu, i luckily get to a skirmish, but if i load a game, it freezes and come up with the exception error.
Delete 'Star Wars Empire at WarGameDataDataXML'. If you haven't this folder and you've got English-language version with 1.05 patch - IT MUST WORK.
I'll add CiS ships in V5. They'll be available at mercenary dockyards in skirmish. Notice: next release = V4.1

Hi again I dled the mod and its great but I cant seem to find the DS2 Ive goto tech level 5 for empire in skirmish and in galactic conquest and had Endor and Kuat an neither give me access to the 2nd death star. How do I get it? Also ive just started playing online and is it possible to get either or both death stars online?

You need tech level 5 and level 5 space station on Kuat of Endor in GC. If Ds2 isn't availlable, maybe you start the game without mod enabled? What about other new units?

Hi, ever since I installed this mod, I have been unable to use either Death Star to destroy a planet. Whenever I try, my computer freezes. I've tested it, and my computer only freezes if I try to destroy a planet while your mod is installed.
Are you using the DS2? if so and you want to watch the death star blow up the planet i would suggest building the DS and use that instead of the DS2, or you can drag the DS2 onto the destroy planet tab and do it that way. thats how i got arround the problem

reply: I've tried destroying planets with both the DS1 and DS2 by dragging them over to "destroy planet", it freezes either way. I've also tried destroying planets with the DS1 in space-battle mode, but it freezes as soon as the laser makes contact with the planet.

Hi I'm kinda new here and I've been playing around with different mods however I really liked the conflict in space series. I only have one complaint and I dunno if you can do anything. I was playing as the Empire on Galactic Conquest mode on a medium setting and It's incredibly hard to defend planets when they use those Anti Air TB4's it was a somewhat flustrating ordeal and I would like to remove them but don't really know how. I have been interested in learning how to make mods and thing but have no Idea where to start because I have an Idea for one. so I guess If you can help me I would be very grateful
Well if you guys are having probs after patch 1.05 then it sounds like the mod is not 1.05 compatable 
no, it works but the death star has been messed up since 1.04 when i first started seeing ppl complaining about it

I was playing Galactic Conquest and had a DSII in my fleet. I was being hammered by the rebels so I tried to destroy their station or the Home One with the laser. It wouldn't fire!!! I clicked about 10 times to make sure i had it. I clicked on the Home One 50 times. Needless to say I lost my fleet and ran with a few worthless ships in tow. What happened?

Maybe you accidentally clicked on rocket icon (DS2 special ability)? It orders DS II to stop firing its superlaser. Or Home One was above DS II so the battlestation was unable to target it.
If you have any technical problem, e-mail me. I mean crashes, inability to run the mod etc. I'll try to help you or, if it's impossible, try to resolve issue in the future release.
When I had the DSII, it wouldn't fire on enemy ships. It was in the dead center of the map and wouldn't fire. What's wrong?
Is it possible to make the heroes stronger on land? And maybe you can give the Field Commander Storm Commando escorts, and same for Mara Jade? And does Palpatine have Royal Guard escorts?
Not sure what Vader should have. :-/
or you could just build the escorts yourself, not economicly smart but still thats one wa y to do it

I have the other units including a nice Grand Admiral that helps me out a fair abit I just cant seem to get the death star Kinda confuseing me as i installed the mod and everything as usual.
How about V4 new units like TIE Defenders or Titan cruiser? Maybe you've installed EaW in custom directory and forgotten to change the path during CiS installation?
When I order the Death Star to blow up a planet on the Galactic map, the game freezes. It also did that when I ordered the DS1 to destroy a planet during a space battle.
read some of the above posts before yours, this is a glitch, it has been around since patch 1.04 there is nothing you can do about it

Uhh how do you get the second death star? lol
You can build it in GC Mode on Kuat and Endor, you need Tech 5 and Space Station lvl 5.
But i do think that the DS II should be buildable on more planets. You can build the Death Star on any planet with lvl 5 Space Station.
Perhaps it should be buildable on Fondor, Sullust, and Coruscant too???
And Avenger, can you also add the new LoW SSD???
And you should perhaps think of raising the population capacity from 30/35 (Imp/Reb) to 40/45 (Imp/Reb)

Sweet mod Avenger85! =) Love the Death Star II! I wasn't aware the ARC-170's had been put into a mod yet until I saw this one, really awsome models. Only problems I have with it though is that I liked having Bombing Run, I don't know if you disabled the option or what but after I installed this mod I no longer have the option to do it, I liked that feature a lot, was pretty nice to have=)
Thanks! You can call bombing runs if you have Victory or Imperial Star Destroyer in the fleet. I've forgotten to enable this option for ARC-170. In CiS V4.1(available soon) I've added ARC-170 and B-Wing bombing runs. Here's the screenie

This mod definitely kick ass, he's balanced and new units are nice... Next version will improve the mod once again, and about the clone wars ship... Me, it's un-canon, and I don't really like that point...
So a mod like this one but that allow to play ONLY CW UNITS would be an amazing mod. Republic could have Venator, Acclamator, TABA gunship, ARC170, V wing and ETA 2, Separatist could have Invisible Hand like ships, bank union freighter, Tri-fighter and droid fighter, Droid Gunship... And so others, as well as it's canon... Is it a nice idea? ^^'
Wow what a great mod. I do have one question, the super star destroyer and the titan crusier are massive compared to other ships and to the environment. Is there a way to scale down the ships maybe half the size? Any comments would be appreciated. Thank you.
They look huge 'cause they ARE huge! I don't know for the Titan, i guess so, but the SSD is a massive huge ship, watch ESB to refresh your memory ^^

Sith_lord_jerem is right. Anyway if you want resize the sips, open SpaceUnitsCapital.xml file (with notepad) and change <Scale_Factor> </Scale_Factor> parameter for specified unit.

This beta is far more balanced - at tech level 5 Rebels recieve hero Mediator with Super Ion Cannon.

Seems like too many problems and not very cannon. Honestly the only good mod that I have had a reasonably good time wtih is Balknights mod. He is done modding though I think. This game feels so outdated.
Your ideas of ship adding are nice, but except for the rebel V wing from Rogue Squadron (really good game, really good memories, I belive I can fly an X wing (8) ) I think all those destroyers will be some kind of... gameplay killing thing! As we have Titan and Executor, I don't think a huge ship is necessary for the Empire... But I admit that a little Eclipse will be so fu.*.ng nice!

OK. I've decided to add Sovereign instead of Eclipse because better model I have.
Real ship scales:
Executor - 19000m
Eclipse - 17500m
Sovereign - 15000m
Sovereign will be extreemly expensive bonus unit (with land base destruction ability) available on Byss only so I hope it won't affect the balance.
Some of your ideas will be realised and some - definitely not. For example I'm going to add TIE Avengers and Rebel carrier (Liberator-class) and I'll never ever include such unit as Ultra-class...
Could you show us a screenshot of your two models, just to see how they are?
I have thought of some more units that might be fun to have in V5.
Rebels:
R-22 Spearhead: the predecessor to the A-Wing. Looks similar, but is significantly weaker. It should have the Hunt For Enemies ability, and be replaced by the A-Wing at tech 2.
Princess Leia with Tantive IV: a modified Corellian Corvette. It should have the Boost Engine Power ability, and the Invulnerability ability.
Crix Madine: a Rebel field commander with exceptional skills. He should be escorted by four Rebel Infiltrators, and have the Take Cover and Throw Thermal Detonator ability. In space he should just sit in the biggest ship around (like Mothma & Dodonna)
Obi-Wan with Eta-2 Interceptor: for Obi-Wan, add his Eta-2 Jedi Interceptor for use in space battles. It should have the Lure Enemies and Lucky Shot abilities.
Y-Head Corvette: a Rebel support ship seen for a glimpse in Episode VI. It looked like a Corellian Corvette but with a sleeker body and a Y-shaped head. It should have the Power to Weapons and Boost Engine Power abilities.
Empire:
Darth Vader with Eta-2: Before he had his TIE Advanced, Vader flew a black-hulled Eta-2 Interceptor. Should have the Hunt for Enemies ability. It should be replaced by the TIE Advanced at tech 3.
Palpatine with Theta-class Shuttle: Palpatine in his enhanced Imperial Shuttle. It has four V-Wing escorts. Palpatine should have the Invulnerability and a space variant of Force Crush: Palpatine could use the Force to destroy small enemy ships, and damage bigger ships.
Arc Hammer: a SSD which has been retrofitted to serve as a factory ship. It should be armed, but not as heavily as the Executor-class, have strong shields to compensate for poor weaponry, and it should pump out lopts and lots of TIE Fighters, Interceptors, Droids, Defenders, Avengers, and Phantoms.
Also add KeeperOfFaith's Battle Droid and Super Battle Droid!!!
I've heard you're gonna add the CIS ships to the merchant space dock in Space Skirmish, so can you also add the BD and the SBD to the Cantina's in Land Skirmish mode???
Really nice idea, and they should be blue, as the early design of the A wing! The Leia's Tantive 4 is nice too, why not (even if uncanon) Obi Wan w/Eta2, but for Vador and another new SSD... I don't know... We'll see what Avenger will do!
I've tried out AGDV3, and the World Devastators are great!!! But the rest of AGDV3 is pretty bad, the CIS units are almost all colored white all over, and it's missing some icons.
But the World Devastators are great!!!Perhaps you can ask Sonic0 for permission to use them in your mod???

Sovereign's textures can be darker and Eclipse's - lighter, so their brightness is unimportant.
The Sovereign is good, the Eclipse is not too bad... Go on with the Sovereign, we'll get Eclipse with FoC anyway

It seems like you only get reinforcement spawns at the 5th level starbase. Is there a way to have reinforcements spawn with the lower starbases? I have checked the strabase XML files and cannot see a difference in the level 5 base and level 2-4. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Ehhh... Beta 2 doesn't require B1 to run. If you have any problems with installation or hosting site - e-mail/PM me, don't spam here. Probably all download slots for your country are taken on Megaupload so you must wait few minutes, sometimes even few hours. Beta 2 works fine, you probably extracted files to wrong folder. And of course, official V4.1 will include all beta units

2 Questions. I have been studying the XML files and understand most everything. I cannot find a cooldown timer on hero units, is there an ability to do this? Also on playing custom maps, and most of the game skirmish maps for empire, reinforcements are not spawning. Is there a way to activate the spawn on skirmish under the skirmish starbase? Thank you

You can change the limit of spaceunits in spacebattles in the "factions.xml"
You just open it search for the line <Space_tactical_unit_cap>XX,
and change the XX(whatever number that is on your com.)to a number from 1-99
and voila'
you build lots of units

( This in turn who make people Figth harder for these bases)

Anothing you may want to do is make one or two uints spawn form ships like the Acclmator spawns clone figthers? this may slove prombles of having space to do things.
for example Victory or ISD spawn a extra uint of Driods or whatever you deside
Or add another uints to bothside that could spawn vs building to save slots
On the Build Bar kept this TIE / TIE -BOMBER / TIE SCOUT / TIE-?
whatever you deside to do i trust is the rigth thing
this with out a dout in my mind is the best mod anyone could download a play for eaw .

I don't know what do you mean. DS2 destroys planets in galaxy view mode, during space battles it "only" can attack enemy ships.

Don't know if you get my mail of feedback about the beta versions, but I was saying that IA was using new units... I didn't noticed that droid TIE where replacing basic TIE fighter, and the Venator that was used was a map featuring when I tryed the beta mod... But I keep saying that it's a really nice mod!

I think that all the EAW modders should join together and make a SUPER MOD then there would be no trying to decide whoes to download....not that there is much competition with avenger85 around

The reason the Death Star doesn't work is due to a corrupted path to the "planet destruction" cutscene. It's a three second movie and it appears to be the source of much *****offery. It may be the movie itself, or the path, but I'll bet money that's the problem.
Also, land battles that involve certain heroes or assassinating certain heroes (Kyle Katarn and Obi-Wan are the one's I've seen) also crash the game. Dunno why, you may wanna check the code.
And as for my two cents, the heros I want to see are somewhere previously posted, and may I also just say that I don't think that the DSII should have a different "half-finished" skin. After all, after it was finished it would have been identical to the original. If you built it, it wouldn't be half-done. I know it's awesome, but use logic.
I love this mod. I just wish it didn't cause exception crashes so much...
Death Star issue is probably related with patch 1.04/1.05, not mods. A lot of people experienced this bug playing vanilla EaW. All I can suggest is a quick-save before using DS planet destruction ability (space battle and galactic view modes) and attempting to assasinate a hero...
The good news are CiS V4.1 is almost finished I'm just polishing it now.

cool i cant wait .. i hope they dont take years to post it ... i hate it wen they take along time to post new mods. i only found that the DS2 only crashed once and that was after i had already destroyed about 18 planets i havnt used the DS1 for ages now....Tyvm avenger85

i have no textures for the Repubblic Destroyer or the Executor...
i dont know why? do my video settings need to be a certain way?
Republic is fixed in V4.1. Also, in this release I used better Bailknight's SSD model. Anyway noone reported lack of texture before.
hmmm. yes i found that republic destroyer had no texture 2 but also in V3 the venators had no texture but i havnt tried them yet in V4 also the E-wing descriptions are different 1. when u have E-wings and you hold your cursor above them it says they are strong against 3 things (i cant remember what) but when you click on the e wing and hold your cursor over the icon it has it is strong against 3 things eccept one of them is different....2. the E-wings special ability is lure and when you look at the description it says A-wing instead of E-wing 2 very minor things...other then that there is nothing wrong with the mod...avenger you have done real good with the ssd and it is much more responsive to. the DS2 is good to it somtimes takes a bit of time to fire on the ships but at least it fires at the right ones which is brilliant. DS1 and 2 . I think modders should put extra weapons and garrisons on the deathstars because apart from the superlaser the DS2 is completely unable to destroy attacking ships also they should hold TIE fighters and TIE interceptors and TIE bombers which would help it defend itself...

Maybe you installed EaW in custom folder? If so enter correct path during CiS installation.

I didnt have any trouble downloading the mod as it was availible a couple a days ago on filefront forums and it is great.....the K wings pwn everything they are so powerful and the sovereigns super laser thing is way cool, as is the heavy ion cannon on the NRS mediator. as you are adding more and more units to the game you are starting to run out of space in the build bar and i noticed that units replace other units when you get to higher tech levels. Perhaps you could get rid of the upgrades to make more space.....( im talking about skirmish ) Also the sovereign seems very dark in colour and its hard to get it on the map cus u cant see whether it is green or red to place it....I LOVE THIS MOD

4) Click "past shortcut" (or something similar; I've got non-english Windows)

Thanks for your advices! Sovereign's texture is already improved. Maybe i'll release a patch with some minor improvements for V4.1 before V5. There is a limit of 22 units in skirmish and all replacements are intended. Removing the upgrades...I'll consider this idea.
hey avenger! luv ur mod! it rules! on! however i hav some suggestions 4 V4.1 1,reduce executer and SSD prices(10,000 for executer 8,550 for regular)2,make b-wing a little faster plz.(o and y-wing 2)3,make ARC-170s V-Wings and TIE intercepters buildable. thanks again!

Really Nice new version, the sovereign is surelly a great ship, and can someone fastly remind me how to size down a little the executor? 'cause I think a bit smaller ship would be more playable... Good Job Avenger ^^
And oh, removing upgrade is not a great idea I think...
i would like the upgrades to stay, but if the amount of units gets too high then having more cool units is better than having the upgrades and have to replace some of the units...
p.s anyone entering the Outer Rim Customs Contest??? ( soz for off topic )
i hav 2 more suggestions. some of the vehicle descriptions are messed up u might wanna look at those.........................and my republic class star destroyer came out completely blue!!!!!!!!!!!!! is that my comp or a scinning error? once again thanks! awesome mod!

Great MOD ,the best i have ever seen. I think the only thing that is missing is the Imperial Gunboat...it was the first hypercapable bomber class in the Empire with superb waeaponry and shields at the cost of speed.Could you add itt in the next version????Please!

When I try to install V4 after downloading it, I get an error message "unexpected end of archive" and "either multipart or corrupt arhcive." Do you have to install V1-3 before installing V4? I'm pretty sure I already have the 1.5 patch. Am I overlooking something really basic?

Which folder does it need to go in, as "proper folder" isn't very descriptive. Does it have to go in the Mods folder or the Game Date or Data or what??
