Awakening of the Rebellion (2.0 German Release) - File Description  


Description:
AotR 2 goes into the 2nd round with a completely new gameplay!

There are no more techlevels, the new units you can built are available for you as you proceed in the galaxctiv conquest.
As soon as you name Coruscant, Kuat, Corellia and Byss as your own with the Rebel Alliance you move on to become the New Republic with new Units, new strategies you have to use to win the battles for you.
The BlackSun also if part of the galactic Conflict, so you also have to concentrate on their out tated ships, but they come in numbers...

Inhalt:

Awakening of the Rebellion geht endlich in die Zweite Runde mit einem neuen Spielprinzip.

Kleines Beispiel:
Techlevel werden Komplett abgeschafft, der Spieler beeinflusst seine Technologie so wie er in der Galaxie vorankommt.
BSP: Der Spieler spielt die Allianz und erobert Coruscant. Die Allianz ist nun wie in den Büchern eine Autonome Regierung und startet nun in ein neues Zeitalter.
Zu dem neuen Spielprinzip gesellt sich eine neue Partei zu den Altbekannten. Die Black Sun ersetzt das Zann Konsortium. Diese haben fast nur Modifizierte Zivile und aus den Klonkriegen bekannte Schiffe in ihren Arsenal und sind damit den anderen beiden Parteien von ihrer Militärischen Stärke weit unterlegen. Jedoch besitzen sie die aus FOC bekannte Korruption und machen mit Zwielichten Aktionen viel Geld.

Events:

Es gibt zahlreiche Events, welche automatisch oder auf eine Aktion des Spielers gestartet werden. Lasst euch überraschen!

TechSystem:

Das bekannte Tech 1-5 System gibt es nicht mehr. Stattdessen können z.b. auf Imperialer Seite Erweiterungen für die Werften gebaut werden, welche bessere Schiffstypen freischalten.

Kampagnen:

Es gibt 3 Kampagnen in der Release Version.
Awakening of the Rebellion (Kampagne welche zur Zeit des Bürgerkriegs bis in die Neue Republik spielt. Die Eroberung von Coruscant spielt dabei eine tragende Rolle)
Galaktischer Bürgerkrieg (Spielt zur Zeit des Bürgerkriegs und endet auch dort.)
Neue Republik (Spielt zu den Anfängen der Neuen Republik)

yeah downloaded but......the setup didnt work dont know makes me a little mad that i just wasited 40mins waiting for this to download and it wont install....anyways im sure the mod is good although i didnt seem to get it running....Aaargh!!!

Use the mod launcher ffs, his modding group made it so don't you guess that will work maybe? It would be dumb if they make a mod launcher where their own mods don't work with....

sorry for DP, but about the mod (just looked at pics), damn...finally good icons for stormtroopers, you can get vetted stormtroopers if I look at galaxy view pic and what the hell is that pic on hoth? It is a space map but it looks more a land battle to me. I'm gonna download this as soon as I get home, thank god I can understand german (live in europe). The executor looks much better now and rebelion changes into new republic???wow very nice. There are other good mods but they just add new units, this one tells the star wars story. Well done Steiners mod team.

when the english version comes out...guys be open for other languages, english isn't the only language in the world. Besides sclachshift = battleschip sternenzerstorer = stardestroyer, so not rocketscience. The only thing you need to know is how to use your mouse...I went to theirs site and downloaded it, it works guys, go to the site that #12 said

It's not a matter of playability with the language. It's just, you want to be able to read what everything says. And english is the most widely used language on the planet, and a lot of people can only speak that language. So yeah, I'd much rather this with an english version myself.

I tried to install the mod, but when I click the .exe, it just brings up a small window that says Z-UpMaker SFX-Control, and that freezes, and nothing happens. :/

guys it works...don't listen to those who can't read a readme. It's handy to understand dutch, french and english in europe and with my dutch I can understand that german readme easy (can't write german) , ha ha in your face 1 language fools, ...nah joking guys wink

sorry for DP, I'll be on in, let's say, 12 hours, I gotta go. So don't get angry if I don't anwser inmediatly. The mod rocks by the way, just scratched the surface of it and it looks allready awesome. I like those mods where they don't give a list of all the ships that are included.

Maybe some first good advice for some: It's for foc !!! This might allready be a problem solver for some ppl.

What #27 said. It's got nothing to do with the mod, but when I click the .exe it starts loading, but freezes and crashes. I've tried verious DL's, even DLed it from their site directly. EVERY time it's a corrupt file or something, can someone host a FIXED version that actually works? I really wanna try this mod out.

if you install it on a english game it will work altough you get thousands of missing texts, let's just hope that they release an english version

colt556 i have DL from their site and it did work well, unzip the archive, and then click in .exe, just run the menu that will be fine.

congratulations for the great mod, it really made me install FOC again, smg is getting better and better. good animations

have you have in your pc the net framework 2.0? cause that's probably something you should have.

colt 556 sorry pal i'm not from their team, i do like their jobs, but i can't help you with that, are you using windows vista or something? sorry i'm not tech support.
actually charret or some of the others could really pay a visit here.

has someone noticed that when you play land skirmish the game crashes? and that the empire is way unbalaced, not that i care, i do play most of the time with them, but all the fun is gone.... and you know the icons for the hardpoints, they shopuld sticked with the old ones, those new makes targeting them much more complicated, try to target something that you barely see. that's a tough one

if you have the english version of the game, remember to rename the "CreditsText_GERMAN" and "MasterTextFile_GERMAN" to "CreditsText_ENGLISH" and "MasterTextFile_ENGLISH" which can be found in the TEXT folder of the mod, it wont give you english text, but it will replace MISSING with german text

Could someone create a shortcut or a guide for creating a shortcut so this mod could be launched straight from the desktop?
I always used the mod launcher but i upgraded my windows and now the launcher doesnt work at all, and yes i tried all the suggestions for getting the launcher to work but with no success, if anyone knows another method to get this mod up and running that would be great.
the last steiner mod was great and im itching to play this oneCry

to 45 i joust tuck the shortcut from an other mod and put the data folder in it and tuck delete the data folder of the old mod that should work.

Very good mod big grin cant wait for the english version.. not hard to do it with thegerman one.. just annoying with all the [missing] things.....Just a tad of advice for a patch or englsih version ect..
make the laser shots fast like almost instant like in the movies.. or mush faster.. make the hard points easier to see,so you can see them on the ships... give the starbases more weapons.. a lot more.

and peole if u cant satrt the game. go to microsoft and download .net framework stuff.. that got mine to start up

anyone got the bug when playing gc you got stuck trying to conquer the planet but, accidentaly after you have won the land battle all your land forces disapear, and well let's just say that you don't own the planet... i remenber that bug when i have first played foc, but that was supposedly fixed when the 1.1 patch came, and yes i do have installed the patch....

and after i've uninstalled the game and installed again and did the same to the mod, well land skirmish still close down the game, can't complain i really like a lot more space battles bjut, since you've have added some new stuff, some new maps, and way improved the icons and history for the units, i do want to play land battles!

great ideas on those knot points, really improved the strategy of the game, it looks like more starwars, having to dominate the space routes, good knew way to improve the unit, good insight in the ranking system, and bad work on those rebel death clones, they are all the same.

the mods is cool and all, though i don't speak german and i am beginning to understand some of the new things. However, there are some errors, such as whenever I try to use the chiss ship for the rebels, the game freezes up. Also on some of the new land maps (Ayelln) the enemy forces cannot be found, making the only way to conquer the planet is with auto-resolve. Also I was just wondering, how do the rebels advance in technology?

Not to be nagging.. but does anyone have a problem with the AI cas mine dont move??.. or is this just for multiplayer? i do like to play a gl or a quick skirmish every now and then stick out tongue
god it takes forever to download off thier website....

Ok here is a new problem, i have dl both versions from this site and the smg site and when i install the mod (and yes im putting it in the right place) it doesnt work, but wait this is were it gets realy cool in the mod folder the mod is there and with the file structures were they should be- audio xml ect....
When you right click on the folders and go to properties on any of the folders it says the file size is....wait for it!.......0KB. now i dont know about anyone else but i find that very strange for a mod that is 851 meg!
has this happened to anyone else? if so how the hell can fix this i realy want to play this mod cos i loved the last steiner mod, plz helpCry

the smg download site is more complicated and tricky compared too the one on this site... they need 2 fix this this bug/errors in the DL

I've downloaded from SMG site "Disk 1" and "Disk 2" and the are no problems. But I don't have a german version, and a LOT of text is missing. ENGLISH VERSION TO FILEFRONT PLEASE!!!

I got the same problem too with the AI not moving at all in all the gc maps
Every time I play for any faction, the enemy, seems to have one planet in which there is one ship that is built over and over again. Ex. I was playing imperial and when my forces were about to conquer mon cal, there were like 66 mon cal cruisers. Same thing when i was playing rebels, on fresia there were 100 strike cruisers

You need to get a virtual cd drive thingy and use the disk 1 & 2 with it. Check out the smg forums under AotR bugs -> Installation

I've played this mod before, and it maintains its quality. Having said that,I hope that mayvbe in the future that the Otana (YT-2000) and Outrider (YT-2400) are added to this mod or any mod similar to this soon. So far all other units have been added, and I'd like to see these from X-wing Alliance on there as well.

put the file in the text folder, don't overwrite the original, get the ORIGINAL and put in another folder as your backup, THEN put the emam file in the text folder.

using rapidshare, click in the free download mode, button at the botton of the page then wait for the timer run out, and yes believe me, now click save, absolutely difficult, got 3 internet courses to get all this through, few it was danm hard

Yes the Filefront Installer is corrupt, i hope that the new File are soon online.

At the Moment we are working on the English Translation, and i think itīs included in the next Patch.

Yes we planned much more for AotR 2, more GCīs, more Time Eraīs. The next Thing we planned is the Clone Wars Era for AotR. Then you can still play from the Clone Wars to the New Republic Era.

vadereclipse in the raw forums you are much more compreheensible, but now, what are you trying to acomplish? well you could have said that when you turn into republic you can't save anymore, or you could have said that the star destroyer mkII is much less powerfull than the mk I or that the rebels tend to get away from the map (yes you know the border of the map, it doesnt seen to aply to then) making impossible to win the battle without autoresolve.

or that the victory mk I is much more powerfull than the mkII, and they should have more shipyards planets, at least for the frigates.
and you could say how cool are those fighters that they made!! you can actually see the engines glow!!, and good balance with those units... altough the ai make for the weakness of the rebel unit, but they have the same tactics as of the empire and the black sun, all units forward, its like fighting russians!

When you are in Kamino you can't produce troops, and those planets like, Bastion, Hapes that you get more limit to produce those ultimate stoormtroopers, well you can't produce them.

While on those big Shipyards planets, when you research the level two tech for the star destroyers, well you can't build those.
and when you mix with the star destroyer that carries the tie mk II with the normal ones, the ones that carries the mk II don't spawn fighters.

loved the pre requisits for advancing tech level, and the limit with mining colony it add much more strategy to the game.and the quest for the death star greatly thought!

Darth_Gaga i have the same problems...and futher more it seems there is a problem with hardpoints on some empire ships...in some battles after i destroy all of the hardpoints the ships dont get wiped out and i cannot finish the battle...have to hit autoresolve,and the ai doesnt take in account that i destroyed all the ships,it just calculates the points in the fleets at the begining of the battle with some WIERD arbitrary results.

thats really wierd, I downloaded this mod and played it about a week ago. I reinstalled the game and now I get this corruption error when i try to install the file. For those of you with AI not doing what it should try updating FoC to 1.1, this is a common problem with newer mods requiring the 1.1 patch. Hope this helps, I'm downloading the mod from SMG right now, as I had FileFront problems too. Only thing is the best speed I get out of a 1Mb/s connection is 100 Kbs frown
Is the patch (2.04) on SMG's site an english patch, or bugfix, or what? I can't read german well enough to understand it wink

There are some question that were already done and dealt with. the patch 2.04 is a series of corrections that the smg team has created, some correcting texts, AI, and some other stuff.

Installation:

You can see that when unpacked there a lot of folders, open a window where the mod is installed, you can see that those folders have the same name, CUT THE CONTENT OF THE PATCH FOLDERS and put then in the corresponding folders, and voila the patch is installed!

Hello, would it be possible to have a map more like in Advanced Units? Where you can fly from any planet to any planet (mostly)? And where you can choose to star only with one planet for each side?
AoTR is really good, but I do not like this starting with most of the planets already occupied.

raising level is just simple, you see that only in biss you have tech adv building, now to get it active you have to put IN THE PLANET the Bevel Lemelisk, you know one of the people that designed the Death Star. Build it and then research the tech up, btw it takes ages, so do it when you start playing.

Building Star Destroyers, is simple too you have only one planet being able to do it in the begining, Kuat, but you can build another shipyard in Bilbring, to do it you have to build that shipyard that about 65.000 the procedureis the same with fondor, mon calamari, and mandalore, the thing that varies is the tipe that you can build, on fondor you can only build Star destroyers mk1 , and other things you may discover when raising the tech level, like actually building the Death Star and its quest to build it tip conquer endor.

Hi everybody remember me.... Well I have been tweaking the mod even further, I have been working even further on the english translations, correcting for spelling and grammar, as well as creating a campaign where both sides start with only one planet and the rest I have seeded with pirates. It has in no way affected the built in story plots and I have also tweaked the reinforcements that arrive when you attack a system both rebel and imperial. I hate arriving with a sizable fleet and the only opposition is a corvette and some fighters....boring. An example of the increased reinforcements is for instance a level 5 starbase is reinforced by 2 calamari cruisers, 10 nebulon B frigates, and a dozen corvettes..... makes for great battles every time. I will release my tweaks if there is enough demand for it as well as permission from SMG. I recognize this is his work and they have the last word. cheers everybody. let me know!!

nope there isn't anything that tells me those i just discovered playing, and by translating the text of ithe units, buildings, etc.. you know babel fish, i used it, what sucks is that i can't read .dat files, and so i have to read and write to translate instead of getting the game translated like eman did

i had problems installing one of the things that i did was to get the peazip and extract the content of the iso's, the other thing that you can do is mount the iso's with some program like alcohol, or daemon tools, and install, teh other thing that you can is "install" for the second, instead of cilcking in the install go on and click in the repair button, it worked for me those ways.

Sorry pals when you update for the patch 2.04 it's not possible anymore to level up with the empire. (Discovered that yesterday, I had installed EAW again yesterday, but when I started a new game with the patch it's not possible anymore to level up, you can see that ONLY with Bevel Lemelisk is possible to build that tech centre).

When I was playing without the patch the moff palace could only be build after you conquered all the places that could be built one, I don't know if it aplies with the patch.

Starting a new game with the patch playing with the rebels has affected the level up thing?

We have to PASS THE MOST USEFUL INFORMATION for those smg guys SO THE COMING PATCHES ENHANCE THE GAMEPLAY EVEN MORE.

Go and write and put doubts, if someone can solve and they will, if don't let the smg team solve. AND SAY IF THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THOSE INDICATIONS FROM THE POSTS that I, and the others see what we have done diffirently or wrong or that doesn't aply anymore

well i have tried dl from smg sites and running the auto installer 2.04 which says succesfull instal i start the mod get to the title screen then bam "exception" i have tried asking in the forums to the response is "just read above" well tried that no help. it is to bad their is no readily avail readme file "even in german" Mod looked great from the screen shots. oh well their are other mods out their. If anybody wld like just to explain how then istalled it would be appreciated.

i had the same problem...

1. DL the Archiv file.
2. when it has finished DL , click on the setup.exe file.
3. make sure its installation path is set to the FoC folder then start extracting it will make its own Mods folder so dont worry about messing around afterwards.
4. drag the shortcut out of the Mods folder and play.
5. if this has worked DL the patch and english txt etc...

if this dosnt work, then DL the EaW/FoC mod luancher, this might help, for some reason when i did use the EaW luancher it didnt work properly so i got rid of it but after i did remove it the mod worked ^.^ , anyways i hope this has helped.

I started to play for consorcium and even on easy difficulty it is so unbalanced. As soon as I started the enemy was coming from all directions with lots of calamari cruisers and star destroyers including Executor. In a day 20 I had to give up. It was even imposiible to defend myself. Now I will start for different side and see

Looks like some of you need a little Help and Advice with the TechTree and the Advance to the next higher LvL and the Ship Building System.

Installation Help:
Windows Vista User , or ppl who try to Install this Mod and End with a Folder of 0kb volume , please right click the Setup.exe and chance the compatibility Mode to WinXp SP2 and made sure you use Admin-Rights to Install.

Please be Aware that FoC didnīt allways Support more than 3,5 GB Ram.
If you use more , please Check the Petroglyphe Forum , there is a solution for this.

Space Unit Help:
First of all , i would high recomend that you NOT filling all Buliding Slots at
Kuat , Fondor , Bilbrigi , Mandalore , Moncal and Yaga Minor , Avaram and every other System where you could build Space Yard Structures.

After you have Build a SpaceYard , you should check your Ground Building and there would be now one or two new Buildings. Warehousing is required for *every*
Enhanced Ship. The Imperial Navy receaved a Tech-Upgrade for better Fighter-Spawn of Builded Units *OR* better Ships. At Frigate-Yards could build a Fighter-Extention OR better Frigate Units.

Be AWARE , you CANīT delete or sell Space Structures , you are bound with your decission... until the end of the Game or you lost this Planet.

Tech-Level could be gained with special Events , like Bevel Lemelisk or a Espionage Center for the Rebellion. For the Rebellion you need to build a Spionage Droid (looks like C3P0) and send it to a Imperial World. After successfull Mission , you could BUILD a TechCenter at the Origin Planet where you have the Espinage Center build.

also, sorry for the double post, but has anyone had trouble with the mod freezing while in mid play? I've played as the empire in the new republic galactic conquest a few times and each time it has frozen at the galactic play screen, like it was on permanent pause or something. Anyone had similar experiences and does anyone know of a fix or if I'm missing something? Thanks

The Translation would take a load of time , cause we must Translate everything to English AND try to make sense out of the Entries , so NO Babelfish or such wink

You could Install it at the Mod-Folder or place it on your Desktop and Copy&Paste it to the Mod Folder by Hand. I prefer the last Option , it could take some Time , but after that iīm Sure that the Mod is correctly Installed wink

does anyone have the problem where the AI does not do anything like try to attack your planets. And in land and space battles there forces just stay in one place and will not go anywhere unless u attack them. Also on one planet the AI spawn one ship like Kuat with star destroyers and mon calamari with one of their ships. After u invade that
planet, the spawn just moves on to another regardless if in fact that planet can actually build those types of ships.

Installation: I'm a vista user and I did what charette suggested, but there were multiple errors when I tried to run it. (I got it from the smg site since this one is corrupted)
What I did to fix this:
I moved everything into the mods folder by hand, replacing stevesewokmod that came with the terrain editor. Then to run I simply opened the .bat file that targeted stevesewokmod.
I have not tried anything with the patch yet 'cause I hear it has some more errors.

Question: Why does my weekly/daily money decrease after each turn? As the Empire, I started out getting ~10000 every turn and it decreased to ~6000. why is this happening and what can I do to fix it/ increase how much I get substantially?

Comments: This mod is amazing. It rivals Phoenix Rising in game play/ realism and is defiantly better than z3r0x 3.5. It has a completely different feel to taking over the galaxy than the regular game. I especially like the option to build imperial army bases, outposts, and landing pads. It really feels like I'm managing an empire. Oh, and the detail of the models is incredible.

I don't know for sure, but my guess is that they took those out.
As you should have noticed, they took out Zahn Consortium as the third player is now Black Sun. This would obviously explain the lack of Krayt Destroyers and kadalbe battleships

Well i love this mod but i have that feeling that the black sun has been over powered by the other 2 factions since the lack of Cap Ships and Heavy Bombers

I've been using the empire so far, and have yet to try the Rebellion or the Black Sun. I haven't even seen the black sun because I'm just doing the classic rebel vs empire GC. Remember that the consortium/ black sun wins when the entire galaxy is corrupted, it doesnt have to be conqured.
But isn't the Lucrehulk really strong? or the venator, or the providence destroyer?

Does it seem like the new AT-ATs are quite overpowered and oversized? and I mean really really huge. maybe half again as big as before? plus their shots just eat turbolaser towers


Also, I have noticed that the bridges of the victory class destroyers do not have any textures applied to them and they often change colors, making screenshots look odd.

This is a very well done mod. really liked the cut scenes. The ship design was good. So far the best ive seen is phoenix rising but this is a close second. there was little to no lag for me nor did the game crash.
cons:
there are no major problems that i have seen playing this mod just nit picky thinks:
1. if you like playing as the imperails, your in for a treat. The ships ground units are very strong. I would not play it multiplayer if you like rebels or consort.. for example. i had 48 b wings fighters and 6 mediator crusiers i battled the executor super star and lost big time.
2 , i dont know the name of the little at ats but master yoda from full health died trying to beat just one of them. Also hans electro pulse does not work on the smaller at ats. nOr can chewie enter vechicles.

victory star destoryers are way to powerful. In combat i found my self going after the star destroyers first for they were easier.

( if you dont see a mods folder in your foc that means its not in the right place. make sure you did not extraxt the folder in foc data files this will cause it not to wrok ) it should me C: program files/ lucas art/ forces of corr/ then the mods folder! dont put the mod any where else but here. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE GAME PATCHED. dont mix mods this mod is for FOC not SEW. make sure you have it in the right folder. lastly there is a english text file that works well for this game to find it on this site. click mods in the left margin of this web page. then foc mod. I will say the name of the mod and english txt file. it easy to install just extract the english txt file to your desk top. copy the text file or drag the file to the mods folder and place it in the text file and thats it.

After starting to play galactic comquest.

1. half way throught the game during a battle i lost the ablity to order ships. id select them and order them to move and the just stayed put, they would not move.
2. I had made 5 ships and docked them at sullist. sullist was attacked my ships did not show up for battle no matter how many ships i moved there they would not show up on the screen. You would see them before the battle in the stats. bbut they would not appear as the map loaded.
I I did install the patch but i cant read german to know if any of the above was listed there.

During Galactic Conquest, playing as the Imperials, the game would freeze at the Galactic overview screen. I could select planets, units, choose buildings to construct, etc., but there was no movements whatsoever. I could tell it was frozen because the usually-pulsing galactic hyperspace routes (or whatever you want to call the lines connecting planets) no long pulsed. There was no movement on the time meter as well. Not sure what the problem is. Any thoughts?

I never had any problems with freezing or anything.

For the executor being too strong and weird shaped I replaced it with another model and lowered the health on the hardpoints to about half of what they were.

Firstly, i must say great mod.

So far i have only played as the Rebellion in the GCW campaign, ( Tried to raise tech level then realised why...) I especcially love the animations you did! for raiding Coruscant, taking over Bespin, ect ect! thats awesome!

The only other thing was the scripted in commands... But that comes in under the English translation thread hahaha....

Is the file on FilePlanet Corrupt or what? I tried installing and get Z-Upmaker Sfx-Control. Trying to download the archive from there main site but it is SLOWER than SLOW. Will SMG be fixing the file on File Front or just leave a busted file.

Thank you for your Replies, im very pleased about this Feedback, because its still the German Version.smile

So i have some News for you, we are still working on AotR.
For the Moment we are working on an new Patch for 2.0. Many Bugs are fixed in this Patch and we rebalanced all Units. We created some new Events and added some new Planets, so the English Version is also included. smile
We hope that the Patch are going into Beta within 2 Weeks.
The planned Release of it is in 4-6 Weeks.

For the following Patches/Upgrades, we are working on an complete new Galaxy, an exciting Story Campagin for Imperials and Rebels and an Resource System with Tibana Gas, Metal, Slaves/Workers and more. big grin

Any idea where he might be? I haven't seen him and I am at the tech level upgrade with the Imperials where Tarkin tells you to send him and Vader to Coruscant for some kind of meeting, but Darth Vader is no where to be found.

Ive read through all the posts here and done exactly as people says. Downed the archives from steiner homepage, put it into the right place. got the foc patch, and i got net framework error every time with the launcher or without. And i got the newest net frameworks files on my pc. 3.5 i belive it is. Dont tell me i need to somehow remove that to get an older version of net framwork? Would be damm stupid.

Hi,

Just wanted to add my voice to the many here.

Great job guys. I love this mod, I can't wait for a full english release. The mods is a real challenge with the Rebels / New republic but adds a great sense of acheivment when you start to find your feet. The tech can be difficult to figure out what to do but I suppose that would be helped by a full Eng translation, which I'm sure is coming.

I will certainly be keeping my eyes open for anything new for AofR and other mods by SMG.

Thanks to all on the post also as had some probs with the launcher and DL the mod but the post got me through lol.

Great mod and site, big grin

nice fun mod but alot of bugs.
1. during the game units disappear before combat. for example if you have ships above a planet and that planet is attacked when the map generates dont expect your units to be there. this happen around day 85 playing as the rebels new republic map.
2 playing equal footing map if rebels attack coursant and win. you wont be able to save or play saved games anymore the game will crash if you attempt to load it.
3. equal foot map if you attack a planet ground assult on automatic your units will vanish without any combat. you just loose you units instead of direct assult you have to choose raid.
4. i played as the consortium and some of the mission dont work. if you do mission and all you get is a blank screen the screen wont load. that some of them the cost of the missions is way high it not that easy to make any credits

I had launcher issues with .Net also.

to solve I moved the intalled mod to the mods directory with my other mods, then edited a .BAt file for another mod to point it at the Awaekening folder under mods and the game works now.

can go into more detail if required smile

Can anyone tell me how to get rebels to upgrade to Tech 4, have done thyferra and luke is with me now, but haven't had another mission come up.

I played your mod and loved it. 2 questions though. When playing GC as Rebels, is thereany way to build the K wing manually instead of it coming in with a Republic Star Destroyer? I would really like to have 25 K wings to kill that Executor big grin

Also, how do I build the Dominator, Mandalorian SSD for Rebels from Skirmish in GC, Allegiance and Acclamator? I saw the Black Sun use some and I can't seem to find these 4 ships in the game?

Do you mean this mod uses/needs 3.5 GB or RAM?!? The req's on the FoC box say 256 MB for the base game. As the game takes up the whole screen, how would I know if I'm using more (wait, let me guess - when it crashes I'm at my pc's limit?)? I'm not very computer savvy, but trying to learn.

Okay .. about halfway in dl'ing the archiv7zip/winrar file from their site. Maybe another hour should do it. Hehehe.

Another couple of questions I need answered. I saw the Rebels making Black Sun Venators and Sorosub carriers in GC when I was the Empire, so How do I make them when I'm playing as the Rebels? Is it a glitch?

Also, When i destroy the engines on a Black Sun ship, they just drift off the playable area and I can't kill them. Once they go off screen are they considered Destroyed?

Honestly i dont understand why people make mods in none english in the first place... doenst make sense since way over 70% of the world speak english....
