This Mod is completley uncannon
it just makes the gameplay awsome, especially space, i'll realese a land focused one later.

Changes in V2.1
General
Fixed the icon bug that made half the icons disappear.
Fixed it so the MC80 has a icon to begin with.
Fixed prices on some of the units i made typos on.

This Mod is completley uncannon

Calamari X-1 toned dow a LITTLE bit.
I think thats it but i may be leaving out stuff.

Changes and fixes in V1.1
Imperial
Pirate units no longer buildible, they were causing too many problems.
Fixed glitch on the Imperial Gunship that made it invincible.
Fixed glitch that made the mini death star invincible, and gave it a betterlooking laser.
took out the virago, i'm having to debug its entry so it works.
Vader is a stronger than before.
Super hypervelocity gun charges faster, and does a little more damage.
Barracks now spawn 3 squads of storm troopers, 2 squads of navy troopers, 2 scoutbikes, and 2 pod walkers.
New imperial space outpost.
Executor-class SSD-can only build 3
improved piets energy weapon.
can no build ground Tie bombers and fighters. 2 bombers per squadron can build 3 squadrons at a time.
New navy trooper ground unit, you can build it with a level 1 space station, is on the space tab.
space cap raised to 35
I think thats about it.

Rebel
Home one is slightly less powerful and has a smaller escort.
New Home two unit, used by obi-wan during space battles.
New Liberator unit used by Mon Mothma during space battles.
New Mon Calamari X-1 unit, you can only build 3.
Venetor is slightly improved.
pirate units are no longer available.
Obi-wan is stronger on the ground then before.
Barracks now spawn 3 squads of infantry, 3 squads of plex soldiers, and 2 pod walkers.
New rebel space outpost.
Heavy ion cannon is more powerfull.
New Y-wing buildible ground squad, 2 per squad, can build 3 squads at a time.
New X-wing buildible ground squad,3 per squad, can build 5 squads at a time.
New rebel comm. jammer, increases FOW for your enemy by 60%.
i think thats it.

General changes
Coruscant's income is 500, its pop. cap is 50
Alderran's income is 500, it's pop cap is 50

Thanks to bailknight for letting me use his MC80 model and death animations for the SSD.
Huge thanks to stiener's modding for the models and partial coding of the following units:
b-wing, e-wing, tie interceptor,defender and avenger, dreadnoughts, escort frigate, rebel carrier, and the nebulon II, and also thanks to them for the great icons that came with them.

it takes along time and alot of patience to make new units usable in skirmish, on the rare day that i have both, it will happen, but no this version doesnt really work in skirmish. I just wanted to say that this mod is 100% lidit and that its removal was a big misunderstanding, for more information on this mod and potetial later versions find my thread on the filefront forums called a galaxy divided 2.0 imminent, or contact me at Sonic@cncgames.every1.net

Well I tried to play with your mod on my EaW and every time I do it locks up on the Main Loading Screen (Right before the first to Cinme) and when I delete the XML Files Its fine........... Don't know if its just me.

Not accusing you or anything, but did you use the models and textures from the old steiner's mod? Because that unit list is awfully similar to the steiner's one... But again, not accusing, you probably used the warlords pack which is entirely free to use. Oh yeah, the mod is pretty good, just watch the balancing as you add more units!

The people at stieniers modding said i could use thier models, its in the credits, yes sometimes it will lock up in the intro (the one with all the ships in the backround) normally if you wait a few seconds it will resume normal function, if it does not try clicking a nutton a few times and wait about 30 sec. i have a very old computer so the mod sjould run on just about anything.

Ok the next version will somwwhat effect skirmish play, im having some trouble getting ALL the space units in there, so a few maybe left out, but ill cramm as many in as possible, and even some "hidden" units that will only be available in skirmish.

no! it does use models from a german mod (with thier permission) but the mod has no affiliation with thiers (other than the models) trust me its a completley different mod. it is nowhere near the same as the mod your thinking of, i cant stress enough how different it is!!!!

Dude, it's a compilation mod - it takes the best of peoples work, WITH THEIR PERMISSION, and puts in a mod o' goodness. Don't hate on such a good thing.

And those are just the ones i realeased, all i did was use thier models, the rest of the mod i made, and thiers nothing lame about that, im a very talented modder and codder, but i cant make models, so i have to use other peoples, (with thier permission of course)
And its really rude to call a mod lame that someone worked on for several months, just cause they cant make thier own models, alot, almost every mod out right now uses other peoples models. thats like saying using Low's SSD is lame.
Sorry for being so rude, but i take great offense to that.

the icons; I personally prefer the stock icon style, but that is a personal thing. Also, the mc80 wingless seems to be missing its icon, the v-wing needs its own, as well as the SSD, and something different for the x-1

TIE Intercepters: Should not be buildable in GC, they dont have hyperdrives

X-1; I dont know...its good to have the huge MC ship, but the weapons seem to powerful.....seems unballanced to me

B-Wing; I like to have that one more like the y-wing and x-wing with the Ion cannon and s-foil special abilities.

Home one; I cant remember if you put the proton beam (i've been screwin around with a lot of mods lately) but I like the concentrate fire ability.

Also, I know it always say "nebulon b frigate here", but it sould be called the nebulon-c, and it would be kewl to add the nebulon-g...

The rest is not bad at all, keep it up!

I DIDNT USE THIER MOD, ONLY THE MODELS DONT YOU GET IT ONLY THE MODELS!!! I DIDNT USE THIER MOD, wOULD YOU LIKE A LINK TO DOWNLOAD THIERS SO YOU CAN SEE THE COMPLETE DIFFERENCE, THERE IS NOTHING IN COMMON BETWEEN MINE AND THIERS EXEPT THE MODELS!!!!! maybe im not being clear enough, someone explain to him, i didnt use thier mod.

In the next version the mcx1 will not seem as powerfull, ill fix the tie interceptor, and some of the icons, the nebulon b mkII will remain named that, home one will keep its proton beam, that i added, im not good with icons but ill do my best.

oh the b-wing has an ion cannon its just kinda hard to see, but no unlike bailknights, it has no s-foil animation, but its still a really neat unit.

can u tell me how to remove that X-1 ship in the mod,cause this ship does not exist and there is no ship capable of challenging the SSD exept the bulkwark battlecruiser but it says in the description that it needs a good ammount of fire support and other ship to take the dommage.

dont balance the game for the sake of balancing,X-1 is not a star wars ship and will never be.

nobody can use other ppls mod unless they actually take the same thing with the exact same changes..because

1.u cant mix mods together.
2.everyone has ideas,so yes,there is ppl that has tie interceptor in their mod...thats just life.

btw good mod sonic,.i juts put my ship in a smaller scale and i feel that i have real rescale mod and ur mod at the same time...great job.

Everyday i get emials from people wanting me to join thier team, and right now, me and the leader of a dark empire mod are discussing it, thier offering me the co-leader position and for me to be in charge of most of thier coding., to remove the x-1 go into the unique units.xml file find the entry labeled Calamari_cruisier2 and delete it. i know it never existed, it is a creation of my own, but reall, was thier ever a executor-CLASS star destroyer, or a miniture deathstar? this mod is uncannon, its a mixture of SW and my ideas, but i respect your opinion, taking it does make sense, but be warned in the next version the rebels will not be able to Survive without it thereis a new class of SSD coming, and it will smurf the executor...

The Executor CLASS star Destroyer is an acctuall class of star Destroyer. That part is canon. There have been Several Executor Class star Destroyers. One other that comes to mind easily is the ....well I dont know how to spell it. Never remembered the name but it starts with an L.

I find the minuture death star thing Funny As HELL. Only way it could be funnier is if it fired at like, a million times a minute. Infact I think Im gonna go do that for a second just for laughs.

u can mix 2 mods together? im not talking about tie interceptor mod and SSD mod,im talking about 2 super different mod and cut paste into each other.

and why are u offering him a place in ur team if u think he is fake?

the SSD executor class are:

Lukakya(something like that)
Iron's Fist
Razor Kiss

etc...

and the rebels always suceeded in fighting the empire's weapons,including that Eclipse SSD and the sovereign class SSD.

That first one you mentioned is the one I am talking about. I heared it was named after some prison(a real one) as a joke because the ship was used as a prison.

The Emperor decide to build that ship on coruscant and hide it we dont know how under building (underground). It took time to build it there so it was only ready around the time of the Battle of Endor. Ysanne Isard was in command of the ship and she use it as a prison for Important Rebel prisonner.

when the New republic decide to reconquer Coruscant Ysanne send the SSD in to space and she destroyed by the same time a big part of the city. She eventually lost the ship to the New Republic in a battle on Thyferra.

I was trying to open Mt_commandBar.mtd and Mt_commandBar,tga to add a sith apprentice to the mod but when I try to open Mt_commandBar.tga MTDEditor says "Bad or corrupt file". What method did you use to add the new icons to your Mt_commandBar ?

just put the xml,art,and text files in your empireatwar/gamedata/data folder.

Toi edit the Commandbar just open it in Paint Shop or Photo Shop or any other Picture editing tool.
.TGA is a picture format nothing else. To replace the Icons already ingame just paste yours over already existing ones and put an alpha channel on them. To add a new Icon in the Bar you also need to define the Icon in the other Commandbar file (i'm currently at work so I dunno how the ending is.) There you need to give the exact location of your Icon in coordinates. (and only make it 50x50 wide). Try searching for EAW Icon editing or adding in google. Or jsut head over to eaw nexus and get a tutorial.

You can also get the command bar editor and all you have to do is take a picture that is 50x50 wide and it automaticly inserts it and edits both files, so all you need to do is remember the name. You can also take out Icons.

could u make a smuggler? or a bounty hunter? too fight on land? a bounty hunter with powers of boba fet, and a smugler like han solo or something big grinwink so that would be fun lolz, cause i'm making a map, named, 'earth mercenary bay' so i can make smuglers like mercenarys

I would really love it, if you made it fully compatible with skirmish. It is kind of compatible, but is missing loads of units, so , please, enable all these units in skirmish, so i can have hectic battles within second big grin

calm down you need to take the art,xml,and text files and put each one seperatley into your empireatwar/gamedata/data folder.
I took the land corvettes, ect out of this specific one because not everyone like them, i will realease them in a future version though

I love this mod but I would change just these things
1. I would dump the mini deathstar because its dumb and the ability to destroy planets without the build time or slow movement is very cheesy. I can kinda understand the fleet but not the deathsrtar and destroy planets ability.

2. Obi Wan should not have that huge cruiser of his own. He is a jedi. I think a really good fighter would be better.

How could I change these by the way? mabe how to turn the emerors DS to a SSD and lower the amount of support ships he has?

please tell me big grin

obi-wan has a jedi interceptor, in the next version, or the epdII jedi starfighter, havbt decided yet.
the mini deathstar will remain in game, but only produces tie fighters
probably wont destroy planets anymore, but will have a superlaser effectice against capital ships.

i installed the mod in the data folder , everything went fine untill i played the empire champian(medium level) then when this mission to take a planet called :libyium or something like that after the mission seeing veers tested his AT walker , when i attcked the planet i won and killed all unit ( im very sure i did) but im still stuck there which it doesnt says i win or anything........so i tried to retereat and attck again.......but still the same.........can u fix this ?

had great fun with your mod but heres some suggestion for the next release

1) hope it will be compatable with 1.05 ( so the realese will be after 1.05 comes out)

2)hope it will be in mod file or with installer (easier to install or remove)

3)hope to fix the icons with mc80 ( and some of the icons still needs polishing like the fllet comanders)

4) hope the smuglers and bounty hunters can fight on land as mercanry ( ability like boba fett and han solo)

5)mini dealth star shouldnt have ability to blow planets up but shouls have a main beam to hit capital ships and lots of anti aircraft guns on it, and it should remain unlimited tie / tie advance squrds spawning

6) hope the new units will be in the tech tree shown to us both space and land with complete descriptions

7)tie avengers is the only fighter without hyperspace ( no comment on that ) but its very annoying that u have to use fleets to pick them up if u build them some palce else , and also i dont know why u made them dont take any unit caps cause its not fair at all so please fix this XD

8) DARTH VADOR with a squrd of vapors ?? WT .......please make them back into tie advance

9) hope u make luke into jedi when he is fighting on ground , and obi one having a jedi star fighter instead of a frigate , maria hade shouls use a light saber aside his rifle XD

10)hope theres new units like : storm comandoes ( like the rebel infitrator) , emperors elite gursds ( those red dudes , please make them have rifles instead of sticks XD and only recruitable in corsucnt) , rebel wokkie worriors ( only recruited at kesuykke) , bothem spies as a fighting unit that can clock (recharge time) and plant bombs , heavy storm troppers armed with that heavy mechine gun on empire strikes back , STAR DESTROYER 2 and VICTORY STAR DESTROYER 2 , bulkcruser for rebels

11) more foucusing on land battle blances : infantry should die more easiy , walkers and tanks shouls be more powerful

12) hope land deployed bombers / fighters can be made ( like in some other mods )

13) navy troppers needs to fix path finding issue

14) unit cap is not blanced exp AT walker only take 1 unit caps ? please make them balance a bit more

15) income rate is too rich , please be a bit more blanced

16) skirmish mod compatable ( which i know u will make soon)

17) add a few more planets in champian ( just asking , not very nessacary)

18)a bit less unit restrains for fighter carriers for both side , id say ta least 10 carriers for each side , and carriers should spawn the basic figters only ( tie / tie bomber , X WING , Y WING )

19) add more heros ( thrawn with a SS2 or something he did have , some generals for rebels with some capital ships ) , but please NO PIZZA oh sorry i mean no JABBA THE HUT with a gun on him....hahahah XD

20) space stations more urber ( as it should be)

i just noyiced that bug too, dont really know how to fix it though.
about the ground bombers and stuff, i had on of the first mods to use those, its V1.15
The only changes i made to income where that alderraan and coruscant produce 500 credits, because they are the reb/imp capitals, its not really much of an increase.

1)maybe make yavin 4 have good income instaed of adlerian . cause later in game it will be blown up by death star ,

2) so will the land fighters be added back in later versions /? ( cause i dont see them in 2.1)

3)so will u fix vadors escorts ? ( vapors back to tie avengers)

4) oh and i cant build tie avengers , u said its there but i cant see it XD ( not tie interceptors, which i can make)

5) hope u can find a way to make the champian work withoput bugs which i mentioned before ,
and also i found another bug which is when u play galatic mod u use the mini dealth star , when a rebel fleet attck u u cant see the mini dealth star but u can see it attcking ( beams coming above the sky) but not seeing it self showing , and when all your ships are lost (which i did) the battle doesnt stop casue your minidealth star is there but rebels and yourself cant see it on map XD
(dont know if it will happen in champian cause i never got that far there caused by the previous bug i mentioned)

6)maybe making only ONE dealth star , which is the mini dealth star version as the only one ( can hit capital ships and blow up planest while spawning ties) , can u like delete the orignal one in game for champian and galatic mod ? ( its pretty unuseful (the original one) and funny to have two dealth stars at the same time )

oh about the dealth star suggestion above some more detail:

when your tech doesnt reach the higest (5) the emperor can have a SS2 or SSD or titan cruiser as his flag ship , he gets the ONLY DEALTH STAR in game when u reach tech 5

i noticed that, the best solution is to hit auto-resolve, also, i have given the mini DS a weakness, when it comes into play, a lamda shuttle will always be with it, by destroying it, it kills the emporer, so you may still lose the space battle, but you will kill the emporer, which means you disable his DS until he comes back into play.
The campaign glitch may very well have something todo with the patch 1.04, i will look into it though.

i just luv it when u make the laser graphics so COOL!!! also can u have the death star (that can shoot ships not just planets) in skirmish mode? it'd be so awesome!!!! and the mon calamari hero should have a higher price and a lower population cap, plus add NEW land units!!! and calamari hero ship should be a bit smaller (because it's the same size as the SSD) and for tech level 5 space station darth vader should have his flagship the EXECUTOR, in the game. ALSO piett should be different (in some way) AND (sory i know this is alot) darth vader's SSD should have a hypervelocity gun! and the home one ship should not have a super laser (because it doesnt match really) and home one should have more sheild power, keep the focus firepower thing, and add more ion lasers batteries(like 4-6) and super star destroyers should come with bombers, and death star please be garisoned with fighters or capital ships and the milenium falcon should be able to steal ships but cant steal hero ships or the SSD) mon calamaris should have a mini ion cannon including home one. i also know the empire has alot powerful things but also alot of expensive and time consuming stuff but this can be the empire's weakness! so can u please add all of these in ur next mod PLEASE!! (OR U CAN ADD SOME/MOST OF THE IDEAS, I REALLY WANT THESE TO BE IN SKIRMISH TOO!)

Well i like the vader fighter squadron, it maatches up well with obi-wans eta-2 unit, also this mod is not cannon so home ones superlaser doesnt have to match up, many people have tried but i dont think its easy, if even possible to allow the millinium falcon to stel ships in space, and like han and chewie could over power the full crew of any ship, even corvettes, i mean come on they had plent of guards on them. Piets SD is different, its just not visible, its supposed to have doubled up HPs, wich menas it fires twice as fast, and does much more damage. the DS was already garrisoned with fighters, The Calamari X-1 is supposed to be the size of the SSD, the imperial gunship is a powrful heroe unit and will never be buildible srry, obi-wan will have stealth, and the venetor is already buildible for the rebs, if you will visit the thread A Galaxy Divided V3 on the filefront forums under EAW general modding, you will see all the canges already posted, and i would prefer you post your ideas there.
Oh, the next version will change skirmish mode aswell.

oh yeah do u really think that the SSD is really worth it, and is better than the home one ship? cause i'm not too sure. the description for the SSD was that is has more fire power than a fleet a ships! but in your screen shot it showed that the SSD is getting killed from a rebel fleet of ships!

The picture of the SSD, is it going starboard with the moc-calamari X-1 cruiser, which has high impact superlaser cannons, but its not being owned, you can destroy a X-1 with a Executor easy, i do it all the time, keep in mind the xcecutor does have more firepower than most fleets, but the X-1 is the most powerful single unit in the game, except maybe the death star.
and IH normally means Invisible Hand when i use it.

vaders fighter squadron now has avengers escorting him now, though i may change it to chiss clawcraft excorting him, and he is almost invincible on the ground unless you have ob-wan or count dooku to stop him,
all of the new rebel/empire units will be in GC, we are going to have to remake all the skirmish maps to support three sides, so for now the CIS is only playable in GC

I finally got it to work but the home one's engines amd command deck say missing and when im the empire it has a venator image and i guess thats the ssd but my game kicks me off. The x-1 works though. i dont know if its my computer or something else. im getting it reimaged so ill try after that.i dont know how to install everything but i know i did something because before it didnt work but now it does after i meesed with the xml editor

can u add a like a capital ship bombardment or something added as another option for a land superweapon, or u can use bombing run and capital strike er something like that, i dunno!

also if ur trying to make the DS to use its original laser to kill ships, will it be strong enough to kill other stuff around the target from a distance or only the empire's DS is strong enough to kill ships from around the target, or is it that both can but the empire's is stronger so it has a wider hit radius.

EX. let say u use the empire's DS to hit a mon calamari, and all the surrounding ships also die, or like the CIS DS hits a mon calamari but only most of the fleet next to it dies> or something like that.

and so if the DS is capable of killing ships with its laser, would that happened?

oh yeah also since the cis has a DS, is the timer longer or the same. because you know the DS 2 better,stronger, and faster reheat rate

how is dooku respawning unfair, the imp/rebs have like 6-7 heroes that respawn the CIS has 2, maybe make it three, the invisible hand is General grevious flagship, that get destroyed at the beginning of ROtS, the one anakin crash lands, palpatines toned down DS uses its original laser to take down capital ships, but the original does not, it causes to many problems.

i know i'm posting alot but remember i cant use the thread because i forgot my pass and blah blah blah, but i'm yet again wonderin 'bout ur next mod, since luke and the two DS are the Death star killers, can u still attack the DS "regular"?
and is the CIS DS garrisoned with fighters or wat? and is the Imperial DS garrisoned differently like instead of fighters ISD? i heard this from someone else

sonic0 can u also make like in skirmish that u can control every team to go againts which (kinda hard to explain Ex. might explain it)


Example: let us say like u can make 1 empire and CIS team V.S 1 rebel and CIS team.

PS if u can do this then that's great! but if it'll take toooo long then nevermind about it! wanna play it so much!!!!

Am I the only one thinking that having the death star blowing up planets is lame? I know it should be able to do it, but thinking of it regarding the balance in the game I think its lame to be able to eradicate planets.

I played against the AI using only the death star and blowing up planets one after the other. Lame big grin Also sine is rather difficult to destroy it.

I've been having a problem installing it, I extract your ART, Text, and, XML in my Data folder but nothing works!! HELP!! eek!

Am I supposed to take everything out of the ART, Text, and XML folders and put them in the Data folder??? I am using V 1.0 because the version 1.5 ( patch)skrews up my computer! Two Thumbs Down!

Plz Help me install this I wanna play this mod it looks like tons of fun! Aaargh!!!

I am playing the game CD less could that be a problem? eek! Because I like playing it w/out the CD its so much better... smile

oh, well at lest the eclipse will be, but does the rebel and the cis have anythin interestin like the empire? honestly i am a empire fan and just adore the empire's awesome power but i just want a little more challenge againts "non-empire units"

so i'm not too clear on the eclipse, for skirmish is it like killable on the map during battle? or is it in the background like it is in FOC! just hope it is on the map not background so it can use its lasers!! oh yea! not to metion its superlaser!

also there's a bug that the SSD wont attack on capital ships when another target attacks it! also it never attacks the mon calamari x-1! u must fix this!

wow i just noticed that the emporer has a BETTER DS. i barely play GC so that's why i just notice that! and how can he be weak againts mon cals and y-wings? he unstopable!!

Ackbar, and the X-1 cand fry him with thier proton beam, im going to have to do something about that unit in V4, cause if your the rebels/Empire you cant kill him without auto reslolve if hes in space, im going to make it so if his unit is the last one left you automatically lose the battle.

This Mod has lots of tag errors in XMLs and the commandbar is mixed. When launch this mod all the textures are mixed and pointless!! I cannot see a thing. I see a colorfull trash! This Mod is one big Mistake!!!

ok. i downloaded the mod. and the file with the folders:art,audio,text and xml came up. but i closed it, and now i dont know where the folders are. where can i find the folders with them in?
